part two of my solo camp I get to work building a new a new shelter for wood storage and do a few jobs on my shelter.
I cook up a nice Stake dinner tor tea the next day I start on splitting logs to build a wall and end up chopping through my hand with my axe and get rushed to A&E I ended up cutting through my nerves to the bone it's been 4 weeks since this accident and it's healing well.

Jimmy, excellent shelter and a great idea to weave wood when there isn't much thick stuff around. Our ancestors have been doing that for thousands of years so thanks for keeping the technique alive. Put debris, mud and clay into the gaps to insulate the shelter. Jimmy Scissorhands lol.. pleased you are ok Mate.. it can happen to anyone and you were prepared. Although you and Roney are a good combination, he's proved he can do a good video, now he needs to do his own because there is good content there to be seen and deserves his own channel.

The shelter is really looking good! Yeah you really have to be careful out in the bush as accidents happen to the best of us. I've never been hurt while camping but had a friend get hurt, with an axe, and he was lucky since there was a hospital only about 45 minutes away. Hopefully you get better soon bud.

That's what happens sometimes especially with them little axes.. horrible tools that'll glance at any minute 🫣 wise words off roney.. don't go into the woods without first aid.. remember putting super glue in a head wound off dead standing birch that come on me 🫣I always carry a long length of catty elastic to wrap it round a deep one 👍
