A fairy tale that is born before our eyes !!! The process is fascinating: it seems that everything is very simple ... Amazing build, hats off to the hardwork and dedication that has gone into the making of this absolute beaut. No expensive tools, no lazer cut parts, no 3d printed cannon just pure idea and craftsmanship. And absolutely remarkable job done.. however, A few details that were missed 1. The steering wheel 2. Missing window on the rear end of ship 3. Lower deck cannon flap covers 4. Cargo entrance door 5. ( the flags are waving in the opposite direction of the wind ) Overall an amazing build, truly remarkable !! 10/10

Флаги именно правильно, левый галс в бакштаг по ветру. На Рыбачем служил, у пра порщика модели из бумаги. У корабля паруса в одну сторону, флаги в противоположную. 😅Всë по ветру должно быть. Мастеру спасибос!
@vijaymoudgalya99156 ай бұрын
The cargo doors are present in the middle-aft of both sides, the 'missing window'(rear gallery) is also present, just not as pronounced or fancy as they might have been. The wheelhouse is located below the poop deck, which appears pretty hard to access at this scale.

For appearance of used and old sails I recommend to soak the fabric in camomille tea and get yellowing of it. Also you can scratch a bit the fabric with a piece of fine sandpaper...

It´s fascinating, how you built this ship. It’s unique, how you made the details. It’s a brilliant work of art! I build steamships by myself with help from my technical teacher. Now my biggest but my first project is to build the RMS Britannic. The sistership from RMS Titanic. The Britannic is known as a hospital ship that sunk in WWI. And my inspiration is, how the Britannic look between her building time and the usage as a hospital ship.

Hi Alan, compliments with your beautiful work. May I give you a tip? If you soak the sails in black coffee and let them dry, they will look more natural. Just an idea...
@AsadUllah-lm9rj Жыл бұрын
Very nice job done. It would have been more realistic if the sails had been inflated. In this case, you can apply glue or water sealer to the fabric and place it on a curved surface to dry and then hang it. thank you

Beautiful. Koodos. A masterpiece. ADVICE: Your model and the positions of the flags and standards indicate that she is Running Before The Wind, or for the layman the wind is coming leeward, from her stern. I strongly suggest you put the appropriate fan off her stern and blow that leeward gust into her sails. For indeed as it stands her sails could look more robust and happy.

There was a model kit of ghis exact same ship that was made out of balsa wood and hobbygrade/ rc airplane grade plywood and it turned into a amazing looking model and took me a good year of building every weekend for 10 hoirs total i spent every weekend builfing it and j cant imagine building it from scratch baaed off nsut reference photos for measurments and scale and then all the work that goes into cutting shapping and sandjng every single piece as well. Incredible. The kit still had tons of sanding i had to do but i didnt have to make every piece by hand. Only thing i eber made from balsa wood and rc aircraft plywood is a 1/8 scale and 1/32 scake rc planes and both took me a good year for each of them and i even had plans and templates to use cause i built it from scratch uaing a set of plans i found of my dads when he built the same planes but it came in kit form with all lieces cut already you just gotta glue and build it over plans so i. Uilt them from scratch and gofted the 1/32 scale sig brand one to gim for fathers day so he could have and fly the same plane he had as a young adult cause it was the forst plane he ever built over plans and flew back in mid 80s. I modofoed them to accept a brushless electric motor and not gas engnes
