Building a machine is the art of creating something beautiful, reliable, and powerful, and enjoying the process of creating it. It's about pouring your heart into creating something dope. If you can't appreciate that gtfo my video. Stop all the envious stuff and jealousy. I Built this machine in the summer of 2023, but it took me two years to buy all the parts because I'm a normal hardworking individual. I purchased my AM4 CPU before AM5 chips were released, so that's why no ddr5 and x570 mb. I bought 4070ti before Nvidia fixed their pricing issues and changed 4080 to 4070 supers.

Just bought a few upgrades for my pc the other day. I’m so sick of buying mid level cards and needing to replace them in two years because they run out of vram or can’t keep up with ray tracing. Just splurged on the 4080 super and plan to run it for quite a long time.

kinda hindsight but shouldve invested in ddr5. most flagship parts (especially cpus) nowadays are ddr5/AM5 so it's gonna be hard to upgrade with your x570 in the future. i have similar specs and im having this exact same problem. killer rig regardless, congrats!

Yo thanks man! I bought the cpu, mb in 2022 before am5 dropped so it didn’t support ddr5 then. Then am5 dropped a few months after😂🤦‍♂️

I just built my first PC last week. I have had many PCs apart for upgrades, but never built one from scratch. My first mistake was putting the mobo in the case without the AIO backplate. Then I have heard of so many people putting the AIO onto the CPU without removing the plastic from the AIO cold plate, I told myself I would never do that. I did that. Luckily I caught it right away, but wasted some thermal paste. Other than some poor cable management, which can easily be worked out later, it turned out really nice. I had always bought prebuilts before this, I'm pretty sure I saved at least $500 by building this myself, though the all white build did limit the value and choices. I wanted an RTX 4070 super, but finding a white one at the right price was problematic, so I went with the 4070. I went with a white PSU, more for the white cables, but am not upset the PSU matches the case, but the cables look sloppy, Ill probably get some white sleeved cable extensions later. I went with an i5 12600k, but still have some time to return it, I think i would be happier with a 13th or 14th gen i7 due to the i5 not supporting Intel Turbo 3.0 and the increased cache, but overall its a very nice PC that looks amazing in the Montech King 95 Pro case. The RGB is a bit finicky to get synced, I would like to find an RGB software program that controls all this, the ones so far have not worked for the case fan RGB, but again, I'm very happy with what I've built. The one thing I did have to do was upgrade my monitor from 1080p to 1440p. Just got that yesterday. This PC was just too nice to be wasted on a 1080p monitor. That's a nice looking PC you put together as well, enjoy!! The all white builds look really nice.

Yo that’s awesome man! Congratulations on completing your first build🍻Same here, I’ve worked on computers many times before but this was my first official build. I’m lucky my AIO came with already added thermal paste so I didn’t have add any or worry about adding to much. Definitely get some white cable extensions they make the aesthetic look a lot cleaner. I5 12th is great. Definitely let know wether you end up keeping or not. I just got my new monitors in to I’m so excited to use them! Did you go with a white monitor? Thank you brother🔥🍻

@@tsukitrust No, I just got an inexpensive 32" 1440p monitor. The cost of monitors has come down tremendously. I would have liked to have gotten an OLED, but they are too expensive for me. I got an LG Ultragear for just over $200. I work out of state 3 nights a week, so having things delivered involves some scheduling and luck. My options were pretty limited to what my local Walmart had in stock. It looks really nice though, and my PC is maxing out 165hz on Icarus at ultra settings 1440p. I had a GTX 1080 setup before this. I was using a really cheap second monitor using a DVI cable. RTX cards have no DVI so now I have my original main monitor to use as a second monitor. I have to replace the PSU and wipe the SSDs and reload Windows in my old PC. I am giving it to a neighbor who looks after my pets while I'm out of town working. Her kids can use it to play Fortnite and Roblox. I know they will love it. I probably could have sold it for something, but this girl really looks out for me while I'm out of town. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be able to still have the job I do, which pays pretty well.

@@stephenhood2948 Yessir I got 27 inch myself. You’ll have to let me know how you like your 32 inch monitor. I totally agree it’s crazy how expensive some of monitors are. I had a 1060 myself and I used to use two 75hz lg monitors. They worked great and were a good price. That’s really nice of you man, passing it on to neighbors so they can get use out of it. I’m thinking passing my old pc on as well.

@@tsukitrust I actually found a PC on the side of the road not that long ago. Nothing super nice, but I guess someone got rid of it because the power button on the Cooler Master case was broke. Booted right up when I jumped the mobo pins. Its something like an i5 3000 something or other, no GPU and 4 250GB HDDs. It is running on Windows Server 2012. I added a bunch of DDR3 I had laying around and want to use that as a game server. Maybe set it up to run Ark or Rust?? Its crazy what some people throw away. I wouldn't have had anything to do with my old PC, other than what I can probably do with the old roadkill PC, so it would have just sat in my closet. Its an i3 9100f with 16GB DDR4, a bunch of 1TB SSDs and the GTX 1080. I know it will run Fortnite and Roblox really well at 1080p. So it helps me get rid of some of this junk in my apartment, keeps it out of the landfill and her kids will enjoy it. I was thinking about giving them my PS3 as well. I never use it anymore, its just more clutter on my PC desk.

Wait, what? Two years to get all the parts to build your pc? Why would anyone do that? I get waiting for prices to come down for a video card, but not building a pc until you can afford everything means parts were just sitting around depreciating and becoming obsolete. You know this stuff doesn't bounce back in value like video games and sports cards, right?

Your insult is pathetically basic. My critique still stands this shit ain't rocket science. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt but 'building' a computer piece meal is as dumb as it gets. I mean what if the board or CPU or memory failed? You know most computer part warranties are only a year long? Sad....
