Thanks for the great video, that was cool how you made your own jig and everything

Hey bro, I’ve found your page and I’m pumped. Most KZfaq vids ask for feedback on what we want to see. The main reason I’m excited about your page is you are showing so much how to and all the steps involved in racing, performance engines, fab work, yadda yadda. So many guys want to be doing big deal billet everything, but basics come first. I hope you stick with it, show the wins and losses, I think you’ll kill it!!

I was thinking the same thing! This channel is great!

You can actually just move your original jig back a bit further into the saw vice and the cut will be more shallow . keeping the same 12.5 angle but allowing more room to weld the runners on the end . ive just gone through this process myself . lengthening the pipe will also work cutting in the same position . love the jig design !

I realized that after. I actually prefer the angle of the first jig and have used it for 2 other manifolds since. What's nice is you can have a few different angled jigs and only be out a couple bucks.

@@yakswelding86 yea for sure, i wish i found your channel before i bought the lps jig

I have that lps fab jig. I have to use it more often. Nice to see someone with creativity getting the same outcome

Thanks. LPS fab jig is great and I'll get one eventually. I just don't make enough manifolds yet to justify it.

Yaks Welding I understand. I think I jumped in head first trying to get a bunch of tools and equipment when I barely use it. Im finally doing my first turbo build on my own 3rd gen 4runner soon.

How did you calculate the rotation angle for the second cut as I haven’t seen you take angles?
@antoninomorales3 жыл бұрын
so at what angle did u cut the 2 time? I know u cut at 20 then turn 90deg but looks like u used a more agressive angle for the second cut because the cut was shorter
