Your attitude is exactly why so many never achieve anything. I have zero experience in the construction trades and I've never built a house. I don't make excuses, I learn, I try, I fail and I try again. Suggest you do the same with anything you desire in life.

Funny you mentioned that, my dad pretty much built my childhood home while working in the woods logging trees for income. Hard to build a house after working a full time job, but he figured it out. Thanks for watching.

I’m impressed! Your husband has some serious skills to be able to complete all the different tasks needed to build this home from the framing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, cabinets, and definitely all the metal work and welding. Very nice!!

@@TKCL dang I would have thought the main structure of the barn roof and framing would have been over that. Framing, cement, walls, insulation, appliances, furniture, roofing, electrical, all for $180k? What is the length and width total about? Dang that sounds like a good price even for just materials

I built the majority of the house myself, so huge savings there. Overall is 40x70 on slab, house is 30x50 downstairs, 212 Sq ft loft, and 900 Sq ft conditioned attic.

Thank you! I was able to keep costs low by doing the majority myself and by contracting out the few jobs I did by getting multiple quotes. The price differences were unbelievable, it pays to get multiple quotes on goods and labor.

Amigo, you must be proud of yourself! Looks like you did most of the work, which means you're a very skilled person. I can do it all except gas pipes and welding. I started watching when the concrete for the foundation was poured. It was nice to see what happened before that. Framing the end walls was amazing. Everything was amazing! Andrew did not compromise on anything he did. As a result, the house turned out fantastic!

Brother, nothing but sheer will and determination can achieve that! Most will never comprehend what it physically requires to achieve what you have in this home. To see that you’ve done 98% solo, is incredible. You deserve every pleasure this home will bring y’all. Your chest should swell with pride for what you’ve accomplished. WOW! This video was a fun trip down memory lane. I found you during the ice machine build and stayed with you after that. I like your thorough thought process. I remember every accomplishment of the house build along the way. I loved the video. I felt like we were building the house again. I remember every episode of the house build. I flat-out admire everything I've seen here in this blizzard of a video. It was hard to make out all the details, but I have an idea that your expectation for fit and finish was nothing but top-rate as well. Your willingness to take this humungus project on by yourself says you're either mad or crazy as a fox. So much could have gone wrong, but you were not deterred. Man the memories of electrical came back lol. It was a journey I’m glad I got to watch and maybe be a very small part of . Im so happy for you and Tiffany. You both deserve it and I can’t to see where it goes from here . I wish you could have kept up the nail’s/ screws/ bolts it took . That wold be awesome to say it took 129335 nails 22713 screws and 238 bolts to build it . By the way Great video .. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
