Quest Master answers the prayers of a certain segment of the Zelda fanbase by letting them create their own dungeons. With an art direction and gameplay heavily inspired by A Link to the Past, this fun homage is now available in Steam Early Access and gives players the tools to craft dungeons has clever or devious as they desire. Best of all, you can upload creations for other players to enjoy and experience the works of the community. Editors Marcus Stewart and Kyle Hilliard do just that, exploring Marcus' custom dungeon to show off some of the game's toolset before playing a (far superior) community creation.

Hey, lead dev here! Glad you enjoying the game! On the topic of your chest not appearing when you killed the enemies, that’s because you previously placed some floor tiles that caused your room to expand. The colored outlines tell yo how the rooms are laid out! So you’d have to kill all snakes in your entire floor in that case, since your room was resized to be the entire floor!

Anybody have any experience with this game and Super dungeon maker? I was pretty sold on super dungeon maker but it didnt really get much of a community of creative makers. The best stuff i could find months later was re creations of classic zelda dungeons.

I kind of wish that there was a monster manager included and a resource manager as well. I find that games that have creative mode with unlimited resources get boring pretty quick.

Would have been cool you said actually info about the game.... Can you make a "world" like in Mario Maker 2 ? Can you make a village? Is there NPC with text? Would have been cool to see the "coding" aspect

Also keep in mind that the game will ship w/ the full-featured single player campaign! There's a whole world and story to explore that contextualizes the environments and characters you encounter in Quest Master!
