I think it’s beautiful that 2 people are willing to heal past and current trauma and work on the relationship together, and not just end it because that’s easier. Inspirational ❤

I appreciate this episode so much! Currently going through some of the same mental health issues and taking accountability for my own state of mind within my relationship. Gave me an ah ha moment when Courtney said "You have to have acceptance of not knowing" I have an extremely hard time with that and always wanting to know what my future holds or if it's going to work out. Having that acceptance of just being is so freaking powerful. Also, both parties choosing to come back together and put the work in is extremely powerful. Love you guys! Hope you do a relationship podcast one day!

Holy crap!!! You have no idea how much I needed to hear your words, Chris and Courtney... I have been battling being sick for the last 10 months (and no one could tell me why). Things finally got bad enough that they could figure out that my gallbladder wasn't working anymore. I was very optimistic and things didn't go as planned removing it but I made it through the battle and now during recovery, I tried to do too much too fast and am now working through a back injury. I have been struggling with the mental health piece of things and I feel like my body is failing me. This podcast was from a month ago but it feels like this is the moment I was meant to hear it! I so appreciate you both and your RAW honesty... don't ever change! The world, the health industry, and the sport need people just like you!

This is one that got very deep at times. It was very powerful to hear her be open about pushing Chris away. I mean, I'm sure it worked both ways, but for her to be that vulnerable and open about what she was going through is impactful. It hit deep for me to hear that. I've felt terrible for a very long time now about pushing my wife away. I was going through a terrible addiction in my life, and I fully felt like she shouldn't have to deal with me. I kept focusing on how it was impacting us, but in time I learned that I should have put that time into forgiving myself and really working on me knowing that she would have been there to help hold me up when I couldn't help but fall. Life has a hard way of teaching you those lessons. Just feel terrible that she was hurt in the process. She never deserved any of that. 😕

If you can have a girlfriend who can see you cry and doesn't hate you or is abusive towards you for doing so that's pretty awesome. Sadly many won't tolerate that. Courtney is cool, pretty and emotionally supportive. Good and rarer combo to find these days.

I’ve been so curious to hear more about Courtney’s career, especially after hearing Hany talk about her a couple times. Listening to this one for second time and really notice Chris doing his best getting Courtney to talk by asking good questions that lead to her opening up or wanting to clarify. A lot of times I don’t enjoy couple podcasts, but this one was great.
