@@Aaron.deRuiter no, thanks for sharing your build. I'm in England but I built a wa-apa from Gary's book after seeing your vids so you have been a real inspiration. I figured my next go would be a trimaran with alot of the philosophy you state here, getting onto a trailer being a big one. The weather here can get pretty tasty with short high waves as the Atlantic rolls in so from what I've seen my thinking was that a trimaran would be better at making some upwind progress in a gale than a cat and potentially get us home when it gets really light and the tide is the wrong way. Bizarrely I was looking at the Scarb tris so I'd be building an aussie design while you do an English one. Ive made my space but cash has dried up a bit due to a variety of reasons and like you I have kids so the foods gotta come first, cars gotta run, uniform to be bought. I'll do what I can to share but it won't bump up your views.... Tube is funny what it decides it needs to promote. Good luck, I'll be waiting for your next installment.
