Building the Black Pearl.. ZHL Version

This is my version of the black pearl..This took me about 12 weeks to make..I added an extra deck ,and fitted some lights in it,and removed the second grill from the front of the ship,and replaced it with a stairway,like in the film...The fishscale affect over the cabin was done by using a holepunch
( the paper disks from the hole punch)
This Black Pearl is the 2016 Golden Version..the standard version..
The other Z.H.L. version is the cutaway Black Pearl.

is this the golden version? how long did it took you to complete it what paint did you use?

Hi, it is the 2016 golden version.it took me about 3 months to build ,Mine has an extra part deck under where the lifeboat sits.and fitted with lights,The deck had a black wash of paint,then wipe before it dried..The rest of the ship was painted with blackboard paint ,when dry rubbed over with a cloth,the add the rest of your colours..I had photos of the pearl to be going on with...And the crew are from zombie pirates figures series 1..made by MARRS..

Do you have the build instructions for this? I bought an open set online but didnt come with instructions. If you have it, would really appreciate it.

Hi i do not have the instruction book anymore.. Have you tried to go to the ZHL website to see if you can download them .hope this will help

Hi, I have seen the flying dutchman beside the pearl, I wonder if there is a kit I can purchase for flying dutchman. If so, may I have the website or the name of the brand you purchased the kit from? Thanks.

HI, the flying dutchman is not a kit ,but it is a childs toy.The ship is a Mega Bloks play set like lego.its an old toy,What i did was refitted out with decking etc; The ship i found was on EBAY at a very cheap price.You can see how i built the model in my other two videos..look for MEGA BLOKS FLYING DUTCHMAN (TOTAL REFIT PT1 AND PART TWO.. cheers for now

@@xinshu1261 Hi by the way the crew for the Flying Dutchman and black pearl are called Zombie Pirates series 1 from EBay hope this helps you as well ..
