great vid! 😁😃 i have a few questions.... what is the "w" setting for the usb-c port? also, did you fix the spacebar with a syringe or did you disassemble the stabilizers? and last question, is the middle standoff necessary? i thought wooting said it was optional

@@johngonzalez9621 On the tofu redux usb-c slot. you can move it to either the T setting or the W setting (which is a couple cm more to the right so it fits the wooting pcb. Also for the stabs i literally just took off the spacebar, pulled the stabs up and used my brush and got in there.

@@johngonzalez9621 the middle stand off is optional however for hall effect boards, having flex could mess with it according to badseed. So I just installed all of them.

Great video! I have the same build as well, but I also got an FR4 plate from KBDfans. Installing the switches with that plate bruised my thumbs so badly. I holee modded the stabs, lubed with Krytox and BDZ, and bandaid modded it, making a huge difference. My spacebar is super thock now.

Do you have any problems with stock stabs on gateron jades ?? I'm building similar build, only differences are Alumaze60 instead of Tofu60. I heard that gateron jades needs long pole stabs like tx. If it's matter I gonna have a pcbfans cherry profile keycaps on it. This is gonna be my first build, I don't know a lot of things about build keyboard :P. Apart from everything I want to tape mod, burger mount and lube switches spring too.

One more question, because I can't find anywhere a clear answer. Are gateron jades factory lubed and how well ?

So if you are using the Wooting module then the stabs work fine. But if you are using a regular wooting you’ll need new stabs, and yes the jades are factory lubed and dont require any modifications.

Stupid question but does it still have the rapid trigger and is it as fast as the stock wooting 60he? I was thinking of getting the 60he and then modding it to sound better but im worried about it somehow affecting the performance of the keyboard.

@@Jumbob The module has rapid trigger feature. I heard that gateron jades cuts 0.5mm from actuation point (3.5mm instead of 4mm).

@@JumbobSo the module pcb has the sensors for the magnets inside the switches which is the rapid trigger part. So yes rapid trigger still works, and the only difference is that the gateron jades have a shorter amount of travel compared to the stock lekker switches.

Space might be stabilizer issue

The hollow sounds are coming from how hollow the redux case is because I did no other modding other than the included foam, but if you check my pinned comment I fixed the rattling issue
