I’m really hoping for better purple options in the future. I love the color, but I feel like I can’t build with it.

My mom kind of had an infant and a toddler at the same time (I'm only about 2 and a half years older than my brother) and she um, left my brother in the middle of the living room during an earthquake because she forgot she had two of us for a second. I imagine the sims infants will be the same. Edit for context: This was the Nisqually Quake in the Seattle area in 2001, I was the toddler, and my mom did immediately realize her error and go grab my brother too!

The fact that the original lot has ‘tangled’ in the name and is an entirely purple house😂

When and if EA adds more purple furniture options in the Sims I hope that they come with nice swatches. 😅

That happened to my Sim too! She moved out and her parents adopted 5 kids. Every time I came back to visit there was a new child. I was so flabbergasted. 😄 I had to remodel the house. Cute kids, but I had to turn the story progression off. 😮‍💨

I’m really excited for the update. I think it’ll close the gap between newborns and toddlers, but as someone who sims just had triplets and then twins, I’m a little scared of how hard it’ll be to take care of all of them. Regardless of the challenge, I am super excited for the update!

okay i really love the dark purple accent table im ngl and i started building a living room for it but it wasn’t really looking correct so i ended up having to change it to green. it looks good don’t get me wrong i’m just sad i couldn’t have the whole purple team ://

thoughts on the infant update: if it's DIFFICULT I'll be really glad, if it's hard to use because of BUGS I'm gonna be really annoyed lol

Honestly sometimes I don't even have kids cuz toddlers can just be so annoying. Excited yet terrified for the infants

honestly, I love builds with tons of packs! I feel like, at this point, all base game builds are so similar because they're choosing from the same pool of items. even when a build has something I don't, I still love to watch!

i love this house, it came out so well, i love builds that have such a singular color palette, for not having a lot of purple this came out so well

That's really cute. I like those tiny homes but it is a challenge to fit all the skill building things in the house, especially like the chess table and stuff. I look forward to the baby update. It'll be so cute to have babies that can crawl and stuff. That's the one thing I liked about Sims 3 is you could do more with babies including carrying them around but my Sims had a bad habit of leaving them outside during a blizzard. lol.

Hiya Simsie! In my Sims2 time I used to raise up the ground to a mountain shape and build a house or a castle on top of it.... even until the stairway up was ridiculous, lol. So.. have you ever tried a house on a mountain? Would be an awesome challenge to see you do!

I want to see Simsie play 100 baby challenge after the infant update comes out, and I want her to do it with the final gen 10 heir of the Nightmare Bells.

I was never fussed about having infants instead of the babies stuck in their bassinets.. Toddlers are too much work already 😂 I can see a lot of people regretting asking for them when they come out! 😂

This was a very satisfying build. We do not have a lot of purple but you used it well! I love that the pergola matches the rest of the house so that it looks like its actually built in. Lilsimsie can do alot with a lil purple!

I'm fairly sure the Vampires pack has some purple swatches for the sofas, couches and armchairs? And also purple wallpapers for sure. I'm not sure how well those would work for your current purple Not So Berry generation, but it's worth checking out if you want something a bit more antique.

yeah i've been noticing that specifically the babies/adopt kid thing in story progression is either bugged or they made it so frequent so the world doesn't empty so fast after a couple of generations, but its really annoying bc some families just will not stop having babies until they reach 8 sims. they also call a lot to ask if they should have even more kids! wish it was less frequent bc i really like that kind of story progression but it happens so so often that it just feels like a bug

It's kinda funny to hear you griping about no good purple in the Sims 4 when I, as a person whose favorite color is purple, gripes about this IRL too. Anytime there is a product produced in multiple colors - the token "feminine" swatch is ALWAYS pink. It's so frustrating.

8:45 Yes, I can and it makes me giddy. The thing you have to understand is toddlers are my _favorite_ lifestage in _The_ _Sims_ , so the idea of having two infants and two toddlers sounds awesome.

Nice to watch a really beautiful build, since I've been watching most of your build challenges and they look silly most of the time (I enjoyed it still) so this build is really refreshing for me. The color choices and design are so cute and nice to look at. BTW I'm a new subscriber, I started with Vixella > James Turner > Deligracy > Lilsimsie. I mostly enjoyed sim builds and sometimes binge watch LetsPlay.

I really love how the purple and orange color scheme looks!! That’s not a combo I would have thought would work and it looks so cool.

I didn't mind in the sims 1, how it went baby in bassinet to child. I did mind that they didn't age up after that. There were 2 proper life stages, child and adult. My sims 1 kids often went to military school (never to return officially), then I did the soap opera trick of having them return two days later as adults. I didn't get sims 4 until after toddlers we added.

There is a way to have pets in tiny houses, I made 32 tiles house and had 3 cats, because I forgot to spay my kitty 🤦🏼‍♀️ I also had cow, llama and chickens. Chickens free roamed and they loved chilling in the house 😂

Story progression can be so terrifying. Literally today the most terrible thing happened while I was playing. While my teenage sim was out, her mom asked her whether she should have another kid. I chose ‘You should decide for yourself’ and I was sure she won’t get pregnant, since she and her partner are the same gender and can only become pregnant, not get others pregnant. Without me knowing, she got pregnant and died in the fire accident. She caught on fire while everyone were at work or school and couldn’t put the fire out. Now I have a PREGNANT GHOST wandering around the house and it is the most dreadful thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

I know the Legacy Challenge rules say to buy the biggest lot and live there for 10 generations, but each of my generations live in a new world on all different sized lots. My first Gen was actually a rags to riches on 20x15 lot. Gen 1's final house was in Sulani. Gen 2 lives in Henford-On-Bagley, as well as Gen 3. The plan for Gen 4 is a "needs TLC" apartment until they can afford a penthouse

I’m terrified and excited for infants, like I can hardly handle 2 toddlers and for some reason my sim keeps having twins so having 2 infants is going to be scary 😅

I'm doing a short lifespan not so berry and plum gen is the one I'm most scared of. Rose gen so far has been the most difficult; I had to buy a potion of youth so my sim didn't die before hitting level 10 of the politician career, but he made it! I'll probably have to employ the micro home vacation idea for plum.

Hi, emm, answer to 8:42 , i alredy had one toddler AMD he was almost becoming a child, so i said "Why not have ONE more?" i had triplets, i se the second one and entered in panic, afterwards, the third one appeared and I almost cried, bit not from happiness, nonono, FROM DESPAIR (IT's my first time officially playing, i have always watched sims4 videos, so since the start i knew how much work was it) so rn I have 3 toddlers, one child, two incompetent parents and more stress than my mom.

the problem with the infant update is that we wanted a BABY update not an extra life stage. i personally think the change from babies to toddlers is fine but the switch from toddlers to children is not at all realistic and neither is the switch from child to teen. i would’ve much preferred a new life stage for tweens where they go to middle school or for something between a toddler and a child where they go to preschool. those are two way more memorable and personable than infants especially the tween stage where they go to middle school. thats a core memory for everyone lol they could’ve done all the exact things for babies but not make it a new life stage and i think people would’ve been way more receptive to that
