This is the first video ive watched of yours (im a newish simmer) and this made me run to the gallery. This is what i look for in a starter home. It has everything you need and it looks cool, plus its a fixer upper which i love. Easy to like... get a job and add a little love to it. Also, you dont NEED a bed, but beds are nice and roomy for sexy purposes 😂 just an extra place to... hide the bone... if you will... 😂

@lilsimsie I think it's important you know that... Editing this lot was like .... When you were in school and you did a big, group project and there's always one kid who doesn't contribute on purpose except... this time you handed the C average student an exceptional, finished product, and told them to "do their part" and make it "better" without even giving the kid a chance 😂 I'm editing this like... I wanted it to be a little ritzier and a little cozier so I changed the couches, added a fireplace with couches, added a couple details... but none of that was NEEDED. I added a couple toast buckets because I always find myself without them, including a mini kitchen and our new miniature bar by the dance floor. I changed the mirrors in the bathroom and added some fancy looking perfume. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I showed up to class and the teacher asked me: "So Brooke.... what was your contribution to the project?" (Panicking in millenial) *douchiest guy voice* i added some... plant.... rizz... Teacher: plant... ri- Me: yeah. Plant rizz. Teacher: ....no like what did you contribute to the overall structure? Me: I just told you Teacher: you know that... doesn't count... right? Me: .....oh my god you're right. I probably made it worse. Except I'm usually the nerd kid. In the sims though, I'm the c level underachieving 😂 thanks for pulling your weight ...nerd 😂 Edit: im to add that im terrified of heights and more than once, i yeeted my camera off the deck and almost threw up. So thank you for doing most of the work 😂

I love the lore of this human sim who moves into Forgotten Hollow, entirely unaware of the whole vampire thing, and also happens to set up their knitting space in the creepy attic of their house, also entirely unaware of the coffin in that room.

Something i find odd about the daily rewards is that it does not transfer with your account which means that it doesnt transfer between computers, so if you get another computer, or your old one dies you'll loose all the daily rewards youve accumulated.

dude this is so off topic to the video i apologize but is anybody else on mac having a HORRIBLE time with the EA app? like it won't even open and i can't install packs because the EA app wont let me. I had to use my siblings windows computer to get the rewards so i didn't miss them.!

The Sims 4 it's the worst sims pc game ever, period

The first kid in my Gen 1 Career Legacy decided she wanted to become a vampire and write vampire fic, she would have loooooved this starter

My problem with the bugs, if I click to the pc when I want my sim to use they won't go it, you have to make them sit on the chair and then that's where they'll use it. But if they're not near their pc they won't go automatically that's the bug as well and also, it lags so hard and when I go to edit the house I built It lags hard too, and when I place someone's house on a lot it force closes the game as well and sometimes when I place a build, it takes hours or it never stops placing build loading screen its like the worst and sometimes the bug loading screen would take the loading screen too long, then often the save will take too long as well. Man there's just way too many lags I wish they would fix things up

I've also been having fun with occult sims recently, especially Werewolves and Spellcasters. Mermaids are cute, too but I wish they had a perk system :(

Have you ever made a like, a modern-modern vampire house? Since they came with Late Night in the Sims 3 I was always (trying) to build them like, these big ultramodern penthouses, etc.

I’d like to think that this house was made for normal parents that have a vampire kid and they keep them up in the attic but they’re also very supportive and tailor their life around them

I was excited for get to work… but most of the time now I use the rabbit whole and I don’t go with them lol because it does get really repetitive.

I loooove the vampire items because I build a lot of historic inspired builds so the vampire stuff is good for some of that (especially victorian I feel like)

as someone who used to not have a lot of packs, one of my fav things abt kayla is that she does a lot of limited pack builds, whether to challenge herself or simply for ppl who have that pack! i totally understand the struggle of having a few obscure packs, and it was tough bc i’d see my favorite creators make builds with like 30 different packs that i didn’t have 😭😭 anyways this is all just to say that i love u kayla!! ur videos make my day

How did you move the house up without the stairs disappearing??? My stairs either stay below the lift, or disappear completely when I try and raise the house up...please help someone!

i never use ladders. If I cant have stairs then I cant have the additional floor either. For me its a real life directing my sims gameplay. I know that for SIMS the stairs and the ladder are about the same. But for ME the idea of climbing up and down a ladder to get to your room at bedtime or whenever is a deal breaker. Im just picturing my Nana climbing a ladder or my Aunt Constance lmao

Please just use the whole pack! I'd much rather see you use the vampire windows and go off of budget then to use base game!
