Very interesting bearing installation !! I like the burner method I have not seen that 😎 , I have always used a light bulb on the case and freeze the bearing too !! Dude gotta say I'm pumped on the mxskillshack idea. My Dad was a Kawasaki dealer and later worked for Kawasaki. Im glad I always listened to him on now to build bikes and mechanics overall. He still to this day passes on his knowledge at 83, but has always said there is more to learn. This is perfect to learn and evolve for anyone. Share the knowledge is why we aRe here! Dad never tells Dick jokes so this fills that gap as well. 🤣 keep on slaying guys!

@@mxrevival will be cool too see who wins and that will be fantastic can’t wait to see what you have in store for us 😃 I will keep on with the project but getting hard choosing trusting company’s in the uk to re coat the forks and clamps hard finding them I will sure to keep updated with you guys most certainly better more information to keep up with building its 1 step forward 2 steps back at the minute having trouble with the swingarm bearings and putting the engine cases back in between the swingarm and the bolt but I’ll get there just very fiddly

Has Tony ever used dry ice to cool bearings they drop in real nice that way. But they could of just been such tight tolerance even that not work.

I’m not sure, maybe he will chime in! I’ve seen Cameron do it. That’s one of the cool things about bike building… the several different ways you can make it work. With Tony’s hot plate, I believe there was just a little gap between the two burners where that particular bearing’s home didn’t cooperate due to a lower temperature alongside Tony not having the case perfectly flat on the first try. We made sure to capture that just approve that not everything is perfect every single time. Let us know if you give the dry ice a shot. 📈

Hi Phil. Thanks for the feedback. I’ve heard of and seen the dry ice tactic. I’ve not tried or abopted. I learned this technique from an old teammate of mine at Geico Honda and just stuck with it over the years. This set of cases took a little massaging to get a few bearings to cooperate how I wanted them to.

BRC motor kits don't make as much bottom end power as a CR500! or sound as good! But they are a fun idea. Love the attention to detail on your builds Charles!

Put a 3/16" stainless plate over the heater. The heat will transfert in it evenly and all the cases surfaces will absorb the heat from a full contact.

Instructions unclear. both nuts stuck in bottom end. please send help. All jokes aside i really enjoy these build videos with uncle tony. Ive never had the guts to try a bottom end tear down but tony makes it look easy! Actually saw a used bike at edge performance in Ontario for sale that had EMF logos in the graphics. Thought about test riding it just to be able to say I'd ridden a bike built by one of you guys😂 keep up the good work i cant wait to see this monster when its finished

Hi Andrew, thanks for asking. Well funny you ask. I am not, to answer your question. Haiden was 4 years old when I was working with Ronnie Faisst and going to the Deegan’s to test and put in time for xgames speed and style. Danger Boy became a nickname due to him being sketchy on little bikes….

To understand the title better, just think a bit about what you would title your videos if you wanted people to actually watch them. My goal with the titles (because KZfaq is a search engine, and I want people to watch this stuff) is to make sure there are plenty of keywords that are accurate in the title, as well as it be written in such a way that somebody would actually want to click on it. Not always meant to be taken literally, although you are absolutely right about what BRC is doing…. And I still think it will be one of the most ultimate 500s. 😁 Thanks for watching dude!
