3-phase power isn't standard in the US or where you live? Or did you mean you made a 3-phase outlet in your workshop? If the first, 3-phase is standard in every electrical hookup here. Most high power appliances like cooking stoves run of it and the 3 phases are used independently to power separate lines inside a home to spread load too.

This is amazing Jeremy! As an engineer who draws in CAD, creates programs, operates waterjets, and regularly fixes and maintains them, I have the upmost respect for anyone who builds any sort of CNC device from scratch. Even installing a new machine can be a massive task. I like to think of myself as a fairly intelligent person, but I'm always blown away by your brilliance and how articulate you are. Bravo!

I started using SolidWorks years ago in my small startup design and manufacturing business. I ended up with a room full of engineers, each with their own SW license, by the time I sold my business last year. I can honestly say I never could have had the level of success I did without SolidWorks, their support, and training. After six months of sitting on my behind watching KZfaq I'm starting to get ideas again. I think it's almost time to get a fresh license and start the process all over again. Your shop is looking great by the way.

Whenever I start thinking I have bitten off more than I can chew with a project, I see what you have achieved and it recharges my batteries. I would love to see in depth Solid Works tutorials from you that are live creations of simple solutions, that dive into the "why" of design. Most CAD tutorials are specific in the features they are teaching, rather than focusing on methodology, thought process, considerations, etc... for actually designing something. I feel like your down to earth way of explaining things would make for really interesting instructional design videos. Thanks for the great content.
