An entertaining start to the day. Mind the gap is also a feature of train station announcements in Australia (we copy most things they do on their railways). Sarah, more Mariachi backing music please 😊. And don't justify what you do. We watch you do what you do, and how you do it, because that's what you do, and that the entertainment!

Mind the Gap is originally from the London Underground. A polite woman repeats the phrase “Please Mind the Gap” through the PA system as the tube arrives in the station. I have seen tourists wearing Mind The Gap T-shirts or the other common slogan Remain Calm and Carry On.

@@stygianjack9017 Yes, that phrase originates from announcements at stations on the London Underground or "The Tube" as the locals call it. Also, you may hear them refer to PA announcements as coming over the "Tannoy's". This is because the Tannoy company of the UK built a lot of the loudspeakers used in the stations. May still be able to see some with the 'Tannoy" brand on the front.

Seriously, I love this project already, partly because it's a piece heavy machinery, but mostly because I like watching you going down the rabbit hole, and how you handle things down that path. 💪

I'm absolutely loving this project!! Partly because I just did nearly the same project myself. Last year I completely tore down a 1999 F450 Crew Cab and repainted it. I stayed with the white on mine because I didn't want to do the engine compartment. Just the same, my truck is also from Arizona, and it was filled with the same orange dust that yours was/is. What a pain to get that all cleaned out! Mine's got the 7.3 Turbo, a 6-speed manual, an overdrive unit, and the frame's stretched 5 feet. It's gonna be a sweet car hauler. :)

"Mind The Gap" is from the London Underground Railway. When the train stops at a platform, there's a gap between the train and platform. People when stepping off the train were occasionally falling into the gap.... Hence now all the trains have a recording. When the doors open / close you hear... "Mind the gap". 😂

When gas springs no longer work, if you kick them while fully extended(to create very a slight bend at the gas end of the shaft) they hold up whatever they're supporting and will still compress. This works until you can replace them or if you're in the junkyard no need for locking pliers.

I always have the 'I could be doing something better with my time' thought in the back of my head when going, what some may consider, above and beyond in my projects. The satisfaction of a job done well and correctly always outweighs the thoughts, but as I said, I was just wondering if you have those thoughts too.
