a whole lot of cutting and welding could be prevented if you guys had a way to fold (sheet) metal. It would prevent a lot of gaps that now have to be seem sealed as well. Still think you guys are doing an awesome job with your can do attitude

Double pane windows are a must if you're going to use it in the winter. Heating the inside will make single panes sweat so much they can run.

Amazing work! With already having 3 doors, I’d maximize usable interior space by capping the back. I don’t think you really need it and most campers that size only have a side OR back door.

This has a great stealth bomber look! Needs some good amber cab lights, but just my opinion. Great work guys.

The side windows on the attic would have been pretty sweet if they were not square, but followed the shape of the thing.

I’m not sure what you’re planning on the interior but you mentioned a back door, if you could make the whole back wall fold down 90 degrees and become a deck it would be epic.

Just keep in mind that the angle of the stairs will be very dependent on the surface that the stairs hit. I have a camper with fold down stairs and they have individually adjustable legs to keep the angle correct.

I rate Chris attitude so much. Happy to listen to other people, take on ideas where they make sense, but nothing stops his vision or drive.

I've been binging this build series today and I totally love it! First of all, when you said you were doing a budget build, you actually meant it: Harbor Freight tools (even the welder!) and commodity steel and no fancy tricks. It's terrific! Also, shout out to Oscar. Every time I see his welds in the shot, starting from the frame repairs, they look awesome! He's making great looking beads out of position and just making this whole thing look easy and I respect it.

Quick thought. I know you thought about doing shelves on the stairs. What if you used them as storage? Build doors into the riser area and have it lock or latch close. Any extra storage helps with a camp/overland rig!
