It's Wifey Wednesday! Time to do some more work on the Renault/VW Beetle project. In this round, I build and install VW Beetle front end adjusters for lowering ride height. We make everything from scratch, using only basic tools and check out how well it works.

🤔 Tip: Hacksaw blades are only designed to cut on the forward stroke. (IF installed in the right direction.) So only apply force when pushing forward and lift-up when pulling backward. Otherwise, you can prematurely dull your blade. I didn't know that until one of my former Wyotech Motorsports Chassis Fabrication Instructors told me.... Who knew?

You make this job look so easy Div. I remember that we used adjusters that where toothed in some way so you get some positive locking and we also narrowed the beam to tuck the wheels under the fenders. Thinking of your roads one would expect you to raise the car instead of lowering it !?!?!?!? Great video, thanks for sharing.
