In factors of the story, acting, and quality of sound, input of plot details, and memorable traps, yes. The first three films are superb in that sense. I particularly like Saw II the most, because they did a great job of creating traps and scenarios that are more believable, are convincing enough, and also Donnie Walhberg's acting, along with Tobin Bell's, was absolutely outstanding. Can't wait for Jigsaw!

I think Saw IV was superb as well. It showed the origin of Jigsaw in a very good way, as well as having all present events in the film taking place at the same time as saw III. That was a pretty interesting turn of events when you realize that IV and III basically happen at the same time.

In the beginning of this video, they said all of Jigsaw's victims deserved to be in trap. A question I need answered is why Joyce died in Saw 7. I know that he failed to save her, but she was innocent and didn't know that he was never in a trap.

I remember Tobin getting up at the end and it done my head right in what a twist the music peeling the prosthetic off and telling Adam the key for that lock was in the bath tub fcking great most clever horror film I had seen since the normal slash and Chase and chop masked killers no disrespect to them movies but gave horror a breath of fresh air ..

I personally agree. Leave the original classics be, as you said. Saw is a horror series that should keep innovating the horror genre and move forward for as long as audience's gratified response and the supporting production company allows it to. I honestly feel this franchise should not exceed ten films, because that is too long of a timeline and span of movies for anyone whom would be watching them for the first time (younger generations, or anyone in general whom hasn't seen any of the films but is interested) to want to take in. Every human has a different capacity of how much information and entertainment of the same material they can view. Let it be a lesson learned that most franchises, of any movie genre, have outdone or not made much success because of lengthened timelines, poor scripts, or the lack of coming up with something new and interesting coming off a continuation or sudden change up in story.

innocent is different to didnt deserve . He said Jigsaw didnt put any body in a trap that didnt deserve to be. Its also in Kramers mind who innocent and guilty - hes first target/victim that you see in the flashbacks Cecil the junkee caused the miscarriage of Gideon, the Doctor that denied Kramer his treatment cos it not profitable enough. Kramers theology is those that dont cherish dont deserve life.
