You honestly think that it is a good idea to shift all transport from road and rail to airplanes? It's expensive and bad for the environment. Airplanes need a lot of service as well, while goods railcars just "hang along": a little bit of lubrication and swap the wheels once they get worn out - they can run for up to 30...40 years.
