Love how simple this daily reflection is and correlates to a few habits and AM/PM mood 👍👍 throughout the month. I think this might work for me! I tried to do too many habits …..

@@MattRagland Matt, to keep it simple, the course was life-changing. I recently bought a Bullet Journal to take notes in and became curious about the legends inside, so I did a quick KZfaq search to see how others have utilized the journal and discovered you. My wife, boss, and teammates have already seen an increase in my production level and intentionally. Thank you so much! Now to the next course :)

Matt, great job on this series. Even though I'm not new to bullet journaling I love using some of your ideas carte blanche and riffing off other of your ideas as a result of things you get me thinking about. Keep up the good work! Also, as a result of seeing you work for Podia, I checked them out as I'm always open to something better. Over the last seven years I've used multiple online course learning management systems -- Ruzuku, Kajabi, Thinkific, and now Teachable. I like the look of Podia, but in our business, we have two course authors which is a no-go for Podia per the technical line there. Tell your mates over there to put that on the development list, would you? And a weekly digest option for the comment forum. Dial those two things in, and you'll have a powerhouse at Podia. Anyways, keep truckin' and keep dishing out the good stuff!

Just found your channel and I've started going through the videos. Great stuff! One question: can you give some examples of what to write in the one line journal section on the monthly spread? Thanks.

I never understand, how people can live without future log... Like where do you put for example event that's gonna be in April. 😀

Pavlína Měšťáková I started doing this by putting each monthly spread in the BuJo ahead of time so I can use those for the future log. Should have that clearer! Talked about it in m 2020 planning video.

@@MattRagland Yes, that's actually a good idea. I've done it for my 2020 bujo also instead of future log. 😀 I've probably forgotten you've said it in your previous video. 😅 In this one it sounded like you don't have anything like that, but it was probably, because this one was focused on mothly. 😀 Sorry for that.

If you don't use the future log, where do you record events, reminders, etc., that will happen several months from now? For example, say you have a doc appointment in 4 months and need to note that your auto insurance payment is due in 7 months. I believe you would only have a monthly page for the current month and daily log pages. Where would you record these future items?

Thanks you doing this series. My issue with bullet journaling is tracking multi-month projects and day to day tasks in one bujo. Any suggestions?

Muthoni's Musings check out my last video in goal setting, talks about this. Can be tough to do this in a BuJo and for me requires a lot of referencing between the project collection and daily logging.

I've struggled with this, too. I can tell you what I'm testing this quarter. I have my A5 bullet journal (Rhodia Webnotebook, A5, Dot - Orange) that ALMOST everything--future log, monthly spread, daily spread, meeting notes, general journaling, etc.--goes into. One of these lasts me about a month because I take a lot of notes in client meetings. What's NOT in my A5 regular size bujo? My goals, long-term projects, and long-term collections (like reading list, vacations to take, mom's medical care, etc.). All this goes into a SMALLER A5 "traveler's notebook" insert (100 GSM Traveler's Journal Refills - Dotted Paper A5 Planner Inserts) that is only 30 pages (60 pages front and back), So... that "smaller" insert will carry me through the year and I don't have to keep rewriting all that stuff. I put both that A5 Rhodia and the smaller A5 insert into a Vintage Rebellion leather cover (Vintage Style Leather Leuchtturm A5 Journal Cover With Pen Sleeve). Now I've got both in ONE carry. Again, I've just started testing this approach this month, but after lots of iterations of bujoing this looks promising for the way *I* work with goals/projects/collections and with monthly/daily/tasks/journaling... and my dislike for (a) rewriting goals/projects and (b) losing sight of the actions I've taken on goals/projects across multiple journals. It may not work for you at all but hopefully, this might prompt insight into a solution that will work great for you. Good luck!

Diana Manchester Matt had “Reflect & Project” written on the page. I believe “Project” is used as a verb here, so proJECT rather than PROject.
