The song never gets old. No luck finding this song on Spotify. Found it on Have A Nice Day Vol. 7 on CD!

Ring? Cymarron??? Great tune, too! Also, "something's wrong with me" by Austin Roberts.

Also "For The Love Of Him" by Bobbi Martin and "Early In The Morning" by Vanity Fare. There is a lot of records not played on the oldies stations.

my older sister and brother still argue over whether or not these guys (among others) performed at Castle Garden. They also recall a story of WEEX, or possibly another station, doing a live feed from some teen event at Castle Garden where they played Funkadelic "Get Off Your Ass And Jam" over the air, prompting a hefty fine from the FCC.

How funny! I had forgotten about this song until I heard it the other day on an oldies station I listen to - 88.5 out of Mesquite, TX. I was born in '72, and I remembered hearing this on the radio as a child instantly, and had to look it up.

Wild - just found out/didn't know previously, that I went to college with the keyboardist/trumpet player Roget Pontbriand (in school he went by Rogér)...I don't believe he is on this but have read that he was in the touring band, the promo pics, the TV appearances etc. - again, wild. He did mention having played w Wild Cherry but I didn't know about this..
