The reason why it snaps to random stuff as you didn’t give it a valid target in the first place, you’d have to unlock the ground and try again. For some reason you can’t ground stabilise the mavs with out going to shit.

Really? But often I’ll ground stabilise and then slew to target and it’s fine? It was snapping to stuff like 2km away from the target in the fore/background on some examples. The rocket CCRP was way off afterwards too, I wondered if they were related issues

there are the ccd and ir mavs. if the targets are engines off use the ccd ones

Yeah, I figured that’d be why I couldn’t hit the factories - I was already aware that IR variants can’t lock without a heat signature/contrast lock, but figured it might be a limitation of FC3; especially since it seemingly does lock and let you launch - but still can’t understand why it wouldn’t lock the SA-8 site

The zoom of Maverick D TV is better than in WT, even the image quality and targets clarity are better. Didn't see you zoom in\out, I don't know if you can do that or not. Nice video :)

It only has two zoom levels, the outer zoom has a box in the display, the zoomed version shrinks the FOV to what’s contained in the box.

I frequently fly the MiG 21/19, and since they removed the r3r I've got no head on capabilities, so I tend to just avoid A10s completely. Best BFM AC in the game and takes way too much damage to put down.

Is the R-3R blocked on Syria as well? They’re pretty scary on Syria because the AIM-9P is actually quite good, I don’t fear the Cauc missiles that much, so much so that I think limiting the A-10 to just 2 is unnecessarily harsh lol (I know it’s because they had to be modded on) - I wouldn’t even mind attackers retaining their better missiles, but I know they aren’t given them because people would fly them as fighters.

@@Bullet4MyEnemy Yup, has something to do with how the radar on the MiG 21 sometimes doesn't show up other ACs RWR or something like that. Never mind that the range on the R3r is less than an R60 or K13m1, or that any maneuvering will insta trash it.
