Digital banking if you buy something off a friend of yours or something off marketplace, you will now be forced to pay tax because the government will know everything you buy, and if you sell something, you will be forced to submit the tax on your income tax

Ditto I do the same thing and I kept myself in the ass 40 years ago an ounce of gold was reasonably cheap which I could have afforded 1 oz of gold a month 1 oz of gold a month starting 40 years ago I can't even imagine how much how much I would own right now but I ain't going to miss the boat on the silver though

@@alanblacky9901 Yes, it's really easy to look back in time and say that I should have done this or I should not have done that. But then, that's life and a lot of life revolves around the choices we make. A lot of us probably make pretty good choices with the info we have at the time. If that turns out to not be so good, well, that's life. I did not start stacking until I was 61, which occurred in 2010. Do I regret not stacking before that? No, I don't. I was making good money in the stock market back then and there was no reason not to keep on doing that. 2008 was a real wake-up call, though. I have a habit of holding on to the assets I buy, so I did not lose any money in the market crashes of 2001, 2008, or 2020. I simply held the shares I owned until the market recovered. In 2020, I doubled down by buying a lot of cheap shares that others were dumping as they bailed out with significant losses. A fellow once said, "Investing is a lot like riding a rollercoaster. You rarely get hurt unless you jump out during the ride." While every rule has exceptions, this one has worked very well for me for over 40 years as an investor. But however one starts stacking, it's really good when people do this. Many of us can sense that something is not right in the US and that there are serious problems lurking just below the surface. Having a good stack of PMs and cash can go a long way towards solving issues that come up, especially the sudden and expensive kind. I would FAR rather spend cash to solve problems than PMs. This is because I value PMs a lot higher than I do cash.

The color of the new currency matches the original game. I played it a lot when I was young. (Born 1960) And I was shocked when the new currency was released. When I mentioned and showed, I was the silly one. I left "banks" in the late 1990's and have been using a moderately sized Credit Union since. But also stacking for the collapse, not immediate profit.

If anyone wants to get precious metals by all means do so. Number one security precaution is DO NOT tell or talk to anyone about it. People are loose cannons. You tell them then they'll their friends. When they find out about your stash, they'll come and take your precious metals. Keep your holdings private. Pay cash for your metals so your purchases can't be traced. Central Digital Bank Currency is scary. Transactions are not private.

Are you sure about paying cash won’t be trace? last I check was today on 6/25/24 I read on a article and most cash transactions over 10000 dollars set triggers because by law they need to be reported assuming anyone purchasing bullion over 10000 dollars cash so if you are going to buy bullion using cash and you want to keep a low profile then you have to spend under 10000 dollars per transaction so you won’t get reported. If you are going to spend over 10000 dollars in bullion and you don’t want to get reported use a credit card because is not considered cash and you won’t get reported but because it is a credit card than you have to deal with bank records so theirs paper trail. But if you want or need to buy 10oz worth of gold you can’t use cash at today’s rate that’s 24000 dollars in cash.

@@victoria19853I only deal with one store owned by an undercover agent. He gives me good deals and says he’s not reporting me but who really knows, I don’t trust it. All I know is that he was honest about it, and I stumbled into his store after being weirded out by the last store saying they needed to have my license to sell me gold. Either way, the government has gone too far, that’s the reason gold is 2300 dollars today anyways.

Man, I SO need to do that. I spend less than I make, even in retirement, so my balance keeps increasing. I have a good sized stack, so it's not like I need to increase the stack to be comfortable during hard times. It’s not a question of inflation going up, it’s the value of the US Dollar going down, which is realized in our prices going up. Our fiat money is going down daily, and many experts are saying it’s eventually going to zero.

I use a credit union. Obviously, I need some fiat to operate so I keep about 3 months of expenses in my accounts. I put everything else into silver and gold.

If you have a hologram taken for that rare coin, you have an identifying record for that coin. Holograms 'Record' every dent, scratch and stain thereby identifying ANY particular coin.

I don't think anything will crash at this point. No one is desperate enough and the world is too dependent on the US debt market. Unfortunately things will continue to escalate and living standards will continue to decline. Meanwhile the have nots will grow and the haves will only get more wealthy. We'll live like this for at least another 10 years before "suddenly" haves run out of have nots to sacrifice or have nots rebel and society finally disappears, which takes another 2 to 4 generations to rebuild before we have any functional civilization again. We'll be lucky to get out of this and still have indoor plumbing, Air conditioning, and lights at night as we simply refuse to pay more for what we need or want and eventually simply can't afford it. The Cantilon effect is playing out right before our eyes. We will spend until we can't and then fall into poverty.

Battery backup on everything, also a generator, also my safe has wireless dialup security and camera with the control box locked in its own safe. Been working expanding the system. Someone ripped out my electric meter years ago probably hoping it would kill my alarm but it dialed up wireless and cops responded, I believe they planned on returning after the backup battery died but my neighbor on the call list had everything fixed the next day. I was out of the country. They've tried

First and foremost there shouldn’t be a Federal Reserve Bank. That being said rates should hold or rise to 6%. Reserve currency status at risk if rates drop.

Guys, I am laughing, with you. I had the experience last week. I took a summer of money out and ask for all one hundred dollar bills, now mind you this was at the end of the day. What Tim was alluding to was/is the legal distinction of money over property. If someone steals your property and sells it, then you discover it, you can get it back and the buyer loses out. But that isn't the case with money. It's one of the properties of money you could say. I'm not sure of the legal distinction in the US but apparently it dates back as far as Roman law.

Last purchase, two 1 oz RCM bars at 2154 in January. Started buying PCGS-graded US $10 Indian gold pieces graded AU58. Still getting gold, instead of 2400+, can usually grab them now for about 1600. Versus 1300 a year or so ago. Versus about 400 some 20 years ago. Don't quit on gold here.
