As we wind down 2022, the end credits to the last episode of Bullseye, airing 40 years ago this year. Great shots of the audience, an on-camera cameo of Charlie O, and a lady in pink that was clearly enjoying the music :-D
Edit: That's not Charlie O. In fact, it appears no one can definitively tell who that fellow is. Eh well.
Be sure to check out the Christmas With Geoff marathon starting 12/25 at Noon CT, and will be up through New Year's Day - • TV Game Show Vault 2.0...

"The Joker's Wild" and "Tic Tac Dough" did not have their final first-run telecasts until Friday, May 23, 1986 (final rerun date: Friday September 12, 1986). And "Bullseye" did have its final original 1982 telecast as "Celebrity Bullseye" as show #390 aired, in which low ratings were cited as a reason, after new announcer Charlie O'Donnell took over in season 2 from season 1 announcer Jay Stewart, and our Arizonans were familiar with the game show's title theme by Hal Hidey as the final credit roll is shown. Reruns did air later on CBN Cable Network (now Freeform) from 1982 to 1984, and on USA Network from 1985 to 1987, and with Game Show Network doing so in more recent years on occasions. Rerun rights now belong to Sony Pictures Television, RIP Jay Stewart, Jim Lange, Jack Barry and Dan Enright, and Charlie O'Donnell and theme music composer Hal Hidey.

April 5, 1982--June 29, 1984, to be exact, Erik, in which the CBN Cable Network aired 💨 reruns of _Bullseye 🎯_ (1980--82, syndicated). Then USA 🇺🇸 Network picked ⛏️ up reruns of the half-hour game 🎯 show 📺 on April 1 (April Fools’ Day), 1985, lasting until June 26, 1987. Not to mention reruns in daily syndication from September 27, 1982--September 7, 1984.

If you were to compare the ratings of Bullseye and Face the Music from 1980, which one had better ratings? I’m also surprised that with the full credit run they didn’t just end the theme song like they did in 1980 with the lightning sound effects. Was the Barry & Enright’s lowest rated syndicated show?
@Lupton2000
@Lupton2000 Жыл бұрын
No I think Play the Percentages was Barry & Enright's lowest rated syndicated show. It had only a six month run of new shows (January 7 to July 11). The show was rerun until it went off the air in September. That show was plagued with low ratings causing them to change the format from two couples to two solo players.
