I didn't experience these glitches with the Kraven fight where the symbiote tendrils are invisible here and it looks like he just exploded the cage with air, or that he's floating like a sayan.

I think that venom wasn't connected to the null hive mind at the begin and at first was just reacting to Peters inner rage but becomes straight up evil after touching the hive mind rock as since with the transformation of the suit and the change from me to us.

Im sorry but I can’t like Maguires symbiote spider more than this Don’t get me wrong he was still a menace but god mother fucking damn insomniacs was on a whole different level and the fact he had like tendrils and all that cool symbiote stuff made it even better while Maguires was kinda just Spider-Man but he’s a huge asshole and has black suit Maguire was still a dork and that fit his character cos like it or not Peter Parker in that trilogy was a dork and when he got the black suit he was still a dork but with an attitude and power to back it up and so he acted like so Insomniacs was just straight up scary especially when the suite fully took over when Peter was sleeping

Did we play the same game? The symbiote was amplifying his obsessiveness with how he was pursuing Connors and Kraven (which was obviously always there, you don’t keep being a costumed vigilante for 10 years after what started it without it being an obsession), cranked up his hidden anger problems (also a key part of Peter Parker), and his guilt complex, which, as we saw later in the story, was *how* the symbiote took such a strong hold on him.

The symbiote doesn’t make someone evil. It just amplifies emotions. He was near overjoyed to help people when he came back to NYC with the black suit after Secret Wars. It’s just happenstance that the symbiote always finds Peter in his worst moments and amplifies his aggression. And yes, it can be dorky, because it’s more than just an alien controlling him. It’s still Peter with his quirky quips and personality, just infected.
