That's the point the Symbiote in SM2 is a drug. Any addict will say I need this drug it makes me a better human but It's absolute BS I appreciate this realistic take from Insomniac a lot. And what's more just like drugs It's addictive and makes him angrier like the real thing would "Your just a dying old man, looking for a way out" Even though he despised Kraven he never would have said that without the Symbiote. This game shows anyone can become addicted even a hero and It's up to them to do right thing.

I technically grew up with him too bro though I wasn't alive in 1994 Barnes was the first SM thing I watched when I was 3, he got me into the character than it was Andrew Garfield than Tobey Maguire and Holland (I hate Holland SM) but in my 2 decades as a SM fan Yuri Lowenthal has done it for me as the best one just my opinion though Barnes is the second one for me though that's why I compared these 2

Not trying to be rude, just confused because Andrew as spider-man wasn't a thing yet, it was tobey. Also I think both tobey and Andrew needs a sequel because their arcs aren't done. Tobey didn't face vulture and Andrew hasn't had his symbiote phase.

@@kevinskywalker5539 I was born in 2007, when SM3 came out, I was 2 or 3 years old when I first watched TAS alongside SM3 than I officially in order for the story watched TASM1 in 2012 then all 3 Raimi's back to back after that then TASM2, then I watched Spectacular and the new animated series from 2003, then Tom's movies and finally (My favourite of all) I played the 2018 game. I played the movie tie in games for the Spider-Men Aswell as in Tobey and Andrews games and beat them, but I never was satisfied with the stories till Insomniac came along.

The comparison of those two scenes was seeing Peter no longer taking shit from anyone. In SM2 he won't take notice of Harry begging for the suit and in TAS he won't take notice of Flash trying to intimidate him. Maybe I could have done better with the comparison but I was trying to show a personality comparison rather than a word for word one it just so happens they both threatened to tear someone limb from limb which I felt had to be compared.

Definitely one of them for sure I think for me I don't have a favourite Symbiote Spidey just like I don't have a favourite Spidey. I like Yuri for his brutality and animalistic nature when bonded to the Symbiote, Keaton offers a more alone vibe and pissed off vibe when bonded to the suit, Barnes is cocky and forgets his morals when bonded to the suit, and Maguire just acts out and lets loose with the suit no more morals he just does what he wants like that dance although it was CRINGE AF that was to demonstrate Peter's idea of cool that's he thinks is cool and the Symbiote stops him from holding back from doing that kind of BS

@@GiovanniAlckmimRusso I see where that argument stems from bro about Peter being Incompetent but If you think about it from a story perspective It does make sense. Peter was off his game for the majority of SM2 because he was focused on rebuilding his life and relationships whilst coping with Mays death. Additionally, I think Peter was initially WAY too cocky and overestimating towards Kraven he just assumed he was an old man not seeing him as an immediate threat which was his undoing as when he punched Kraven he assumed he would knock out instantly like any other B that's when he was in for a surprise in my opinion Peter wasn't nerfed in terms of becoming so much weaker, It's because he failed to PAY attention to the threats around him this time round. or anything for that matter not even Miles at times.

True bro however I do think Lizard and Kraven in SM2 where way more POWERFUL in SM2 than they were in TAS even Rhino was more powerful in the Insomniac universe with that battle suit. And I have played SM3 It along with TASM1 where my childhood Spidey games till I 2018 became my favourite. SM3 the game in retrospect was a massive disappointment for me but It had good set pieces so there's a good thing I can say about It.

@@CWGAMES210 tru tru, but Insomniac world is very inconsistent specially with Symbiote Spider Man, In gameplay his base combat doesn’t change at all he has the same moveset and not really any exclusive attacks only thing new is the Symbiote surge which has automatic finshers and Symbiote abilities which all are about the same as the spider arms besides Symbiote yank which is one of the best, in cutscenes Symbiote Spider Man still gets overpowered by Kraven till he unleashes his tendrils so his base strength hasn’t changed that much, Miles proves this even futher when he overpowers Peter and is able to parry mostly all his Symbiote surge attacks. If we compare the Lizard boss fight in SM3 was MSM2 the difference in strength is almost unbelievable Bully Maguire faces off against a Kaju Lizard which is way bigger than the Insomniac one and has some more impressive speed feats too, yet the black suit in SM3 Completely overpowers it. How he fights is more brutal too by grabbing it’s tail and throwing it into Several Generators then unleashes one of the most a devastating combos on a foe, He literally breaks it’s jaw open, topple it’s over by grabbing it’s leg then swing shots into it grabbing it’s face and smashing it through the wall on the train tracks, he pretty much beat it up so hard that it reverted back into Connor’s without the cure lol Insomniac Lizard definitely got off lucky. And honestly as much of a disappointment SM3 it still has a lot of good moments mostly being the Symbiote stuff and how brutal a spider man really can be. SM2 definitely had a stronger Lizard, Rhino and Kraven compared to TAS, but Imo TAS had the stronger Symbiote spider man based on pure strength feats. The one time we can hope to see a good pure strength feat from Spider Man is when he is stopping the train in the flame mission, unfortunately he still fails to stop it like the first game, even while having an anti venom Symbiote this time he still couldn’t completely stop it without causing serious damage and this time literally got pinned underneath but what’s more upsetting is he doesn’t make an attempt to lift it off and with the Symbiote tendrils it shoulda been easy instead he looks like a punk as gasoline poured on and he’s set on fire. This is what I mean by Symbiote spider man in the Insomniac universe being very inconsistent he doesn’t even technically have organic webs with the suit as emp shuts down his webs in cutscenes and gameplay even while in Surge mode.

​So basically a lot of the gameplay things you said is all cuz of sony cuz they rushed insomniac, but for the rest I disagree, for the flame side mission it's pretty clear that it happens sometime before the end of act 1, BEFORE he get antivenom, and how tf was he supposed to lift it when his arms were stuck underneath, as for the lizard boss fight in sm3 that was when Peter was deep into the symbiote, but in sm2 it was in that mission where peter started getting set off, and besides he tries to kill Kraven at the end anyway, and yes his base strength changed alot, it's pretty clear Peter was whooping Kraven, lizard, and miles, before you say miles beat him watch any video explain how unfair that fight was, as for Kraven there was only 1 scene where he overpowers Peter but Peter overpowers Kraven AGAIN in that same scene anyways so it doesn't matter, I would continue but I'm tired so this is the end@@gogetathestrongestfusion

@@gogetathestrongestfusion I see what you mean but I might do a video on the topic in retrospect I don't think the Symbiote enhances Peter's strength in this universe It only allows him to use the tendrils and shift his body into weapons like spikes I say this because he never really demonstrates his physical strength when wearing the suit and mainly uses the power of the tendrils I think that's why he loved the suit it was the fact he didn't have to use his own strength and could use the suit It's only when him and Kraven fought when he did because Peter underestimated Kraven and assumed he was just a man when in reality he took potions that granted him strength on par with Peter that's when Peter actually put effort of his own in to hurting Kraven I know you may talk about Symbiote surge but even then the suit doesn't give Peter that power it just feeds off his anger If Peter wasn't holding back I think he could become so angry he could easily deal that damage to guys 24/7 he only didn't because he had morals the only other thing the suit did is offer temporary invulnerability during surge and the fight between Peter and Venom at the end. Overall, I think the Symbiote didn't buff Peter's strength It only gave him tendrils, temporary Armor and the ability to not hold back on people which is why he F'S them up while in surge.

@@TheSurvivalist-to3jb That mission canonically is before Peter gets anti venom but after he removes the Symbiote It has to be otherwise he would have used the tendrils to lift the train and he would have been fireproof as Symbiote's offer that protection the fact he didn't proves he had no symbiote at that time, but he must have known of their existence for him to mention it later on as a symbiote.
