I covered this in a previous video, but viewers like YOU wanted to see more, so I broke down another arrangement and introduced some new tricks to get some additional simple, but effective deep dub basses.

Duuuude. You don’t understand how grateful I am to have found this tutorial of yours. Abelation is an absolute favorite artist of mine, and I’ve modeled a lot of my sound making after inspiration from him, but at the same time it seems so untouchable and unique, nothing like it. You’ve changed that ever so slightly and I’m thankful. Nice Vital sound design. Ive had vital for a while but never used it much. I started last week by following a few bass tutorials. This morning I made about 10 subs and bass variations. This gives me a bunch more to play with. I'm a big fan of noise in my delays and tracks though. I produce some Dub and Dub techno so always love the noise and snap crackle pop!

env 2 was mapped to osc pitch to add some punch to the attack, but i ended up not using it in the final patch

Probably a dumb question, but how do I distort sine waves in the way that vibe emissions does? Like he uses in galaxies or his gettin some bootleg, it’s like that first bass hit. Im 90% sure it’s a sine wave with some sort of distortion or saturation but I can’t quite figure it out

haven’t tried it myself yet, but i’m sure it’s just ableton saturator messing with all the knobs especially mess with the drive and base knobs, and change around the saturation modes from analog clip and whatnot

@@BuntingMusic yo it was actually just not showing the controls at all. turns out when you just select saturator and not one of the presets it doesnt show the extra parameter options. cheers for your help tho bro, awesome vids :)
