I dunno... seems like a nice checkers board.... but I wouldn't use it for chess. UNLESS.... you make the pieces stone v lava... then i could get with the idea... but wvb on a stone v lava board... does not compute.. meatloaf with a green sauce...

Amazing how many people don't know white is always on lower right corner with queen on color. Makes a huge difference in openings and strategy.

Excellent work, congratulations. But wouldn't it be better to make it disassembled to be able to change the leds if they burn out?... and an idea, you could use a dimming system for light by slow cycles, for a pulsating effect.
