I agree it's a strong, joyful and unanticipated rendition. It's clear -- even more so from their studio-live video also on YT -- that they love this song, and get particular joy from playing the Stop Making Sense version. I get no sense that Paramore think they can improve upon it. But I also hope Lynn Mabry, Ednah Holt, and/or Alex Weir -- all still living, I'm pretty sure -- get a chance to see/hear Paramore's rendition. Those "guest" performers recall how their own excitement grew as they together brought the concert/movie project to fruition. They will also remember carrying that spirit onstage and belting it out to the rest of us. Paramore sound like they've taken it up in the spirit that was intended.
