Completely agree with you about parents saying they need alcohol to survive or put up with their kids. What a terrible hurtful message they are sending. You hear it all the time, especially on social media.

Selfcare is very hard for me and makes me feel guilty for wanting some me time doing something for myself. It’s hard but I do try and make time for myself every once in a while.

I feel the same about “self care” and three days into convalescence at home and I’m already wondering about the patients that I see every day. I feel lazy and like I’m wasting time. However I think there has to be a balance and this time at home is teaching me this, so it’s more time to read Gods word, time to get some crafting done that I keep promising myself il pick up, reading books I’ve meant to read for a while. I’m not surprised I got ill I was working 15 hr days then crawling home not eating, sleeping and doing it all again the next day. Don’t get me wrong I love my job but I have to nourish and nurture me to in order to be able to do it and what ever that looks like to each person they should try and do it. Agreed though I don’t care to hear people saying they like to drink away the stress of having children, what if one gets sick in the night and you have been drinking and can’t drive etc or don’t hear them….

Please don't take naproxen sodium without food. It is hard on your stomach. Also, a side effect of it is headache, which is why you said you were taking it.

This video was so inspirational. I must at least do some reading of a religious nature each day and look after myself so I can build up the strength needed to care for others as you you do so abundantly every day. Now to look at that lovely jewelry! Thank-you.
