Finally a technique i hasn't already learned (although still nothing is working and I'm staying to think I've got the most unburpable baby). The clockwise she counter clockwise strategies I'd never seen before. Thanks for giving me new ones to try.

It looks like Sometimes my baby burps but i cant distinguish the little burps vs the baby sounds. And sometimes i get tricked ill think i burped my baby but there will be still more inside.

I find recommendations of legs straight down puzzling. Arent we supposed to avoid this in infants due to their underdeveloped hip joints and instead aim for M position with knees somewhat flexed and hips abducted?

I burp my baby about 20 minutes and he doesn't burp. And he sleep while feeding. Is there nothing to worry about.

That’s been happening to me but baby keeps spitting up but I did her technique and walla ! I also had my knees up while laying on bed watching this video and put sleeping baby top of chest on my knee and patted back an baby farted twice yay!

Thanks for your video! I was told by a nurse that when you burp for a minute and nothing happens, it may mean that the baby didn't need to get burped! omg

Thank you for sharing your experience Meryllia. Some babies will burp quickly and easily but many babies take quite a long time to work their gas out and its worth taking the time as otherwise they can be very uncomfortable and unsettled. We all want to have a happy and settled babies.

Initially burping was a great struggle and there were two instances my baby struggled to breathe because she wasn't properly burped and had I put her to sit up right in a seat in one instance and to lay down in another. These times I ended having to rush with her to be nebulised Since then I have tried to burp her more often but at nights it has been quite a struggle. But I will be trying these techniques to see how it works out. Sometimes she does burp on her own but sometimes she just won't.
