the things he puts up with just to make his son happy, its amazing . even though Burt is a fictional character , he always acts like Chris is his real son. The writers who created this lovely man created a strong faithful huge heart to share along with it. after all the Hummel's has been through , Kurt was always burts number one priority. our parents always say that they will fight a war for this and Burt shows just that. everything from Kavinsky to the heart attack , he has fought through it because he knew that Kurt needed a figure that would be at his side when Kurt wasn't strong enough. and not only that but when Kurt felt like he wasn't strong enough, Burt would show him that there is so much beauty and courage, it really made Kurt who he is. and Mike O'Malley was the perfect character to play this amazing roll. i thought that his whole look and vide jsut made him seem that much more lovable. when the writers added in this character I wouldn't be surprised if mike put in all the awesome parts! every one have a great day!
