I was an extra in one of his movies made a direct eye contact with him. I managed an autograph pic and he was so nice to us, this was a hit August day In a boiling studio for many hours znd he stopped everything and bought us all ice team to cool off, he was a thoughtful kind man, I was surprised he wasn’t as tall and big as he looked on screen, in person he seemed more average hieght and wieght but still sexy

He was 5'11" flat footed, prob 180/190 in his top physical shape. A bit above average for males at (5' 9"). But he always wished he was taller & bigger, as most guys do! However, his stats never prevented him from being an elite athelete...He was a STUD! His act of generosity towards you & crew is so nice to hear, but no surprise. He was an incredibly generous & kind man to so many. 💗

Cold Winter even though 5’11” flat footed that is a very respectful height...but yes in my eyes he cane off more like 6’2” or even taller...but nonetheless his presence easily made him 7’ tall...not literal in the sense but his overall presence was so much more than his actual height. I miss him.

I always liked him. I think he should've switched to character roles earlier because he had a wider range than people gave him credit for. As to Brando, he was a game changer, a revolutionary actor (thanks to people like Kazan), he fought for great causes way ahead of his time, all true, but I never found his personality attractive and in the last two and a half decades of his life he made lousy pictures only for the money and his eccentric behaviour caused lots of problems.

Many think it goes back to when burt was a very new actor & young he looked exactly like brando. He lampooned brando in some black & white show . He did the whole what's my motivation & mocked Brando's acting the method acting that he made popular. He even talks about Tennessee William's. So it a clear impersonation of a young brando & I think marlon hated him since. He didnt like people imitating him which is funny bc everyone does. Only time he tried to act like him was in that one Twilight Zone episode where his character was something of a homage to Brando, but it wasn't his idea. The writers of that episode wanted the character to be a method actor, and since Brando at the time was so well known for his method acting, he was the inspiration: Reynolds at the time was just a young actor who happened to have a physical resemblance to Brando and he got the part, doing what the staff wanted him to do.

Insecurity, or low self-confidence, perhaps. These are a deeply rooted trauma that can accompany a person for the whole life. That's why we have to face our own fears, to grow and learn to love ourselves no less than the world we live in.
