Both my parents were born in the 1950s, preteens & teens in the 1960s, and became young adults in the 1970s. As fucked-up and dysfunctional as my family is, at least my parents got the music right. LFMAO! They exposed me to all their favorites and I branched out on my own from there. This was one of those great songs! Happy listening. Peace & Love.

Burton Cummings has a voice that can cokes tears from a statue! Back in the day I always loved The Guess Who but, it was later in his carer when he sang this song that made me realize what an amazing singer he was. He came out with this song after a long absence of performing and left him rather beaten looking and he appeared to have gained a bit of weight. Not long after this song became a hit he seemed to be back on top of his game, he looked and sounded great. It made me think he lived what his lyrics to this song told. I too was going through the biggest break up and heartache of my life and so much related with him and this song. What an underrated great song. Burton is one of the best singers and writers of my lifetime, that is saying quite a lot!
