Today we're talking about all the challanges that you might face if you decide to tackle bus life with your furry friends. I cover some of the most difficult moments we've had with Archie (our pup) and Tillo (our cat) and some of the solutions that we've come up with to make sure they don't happen again.

Fortunately, my Meow HATES going out. Loves looking out windows but that's it. 2 former families left him when they moved. When I got him, we made a promise to each other. We're FAMILY for life.

I wish that was the case! It would be so much less hassle while we're traveling. And we feel the exact same way. Our animals are family. I was fully prepared to stay out in the desert as long as it took to find her.

@@BasicallyNomads I know I would have. Meow is my little 11 yo furr kid. Sooo happy he's back home with Mom, Dad & the "dog kid"! 😆 🤣 😂

I've really been thinking about bus life but this would be my number 1 fear with having 2 cats. They're almost 4 and I just really don't know how they would adjust to it. :\ Happy you got her back! Smart cats always return.

Our cat takes walks with us just like Tillo. In fact we have to make sure she's in the house before we walk to my brother's house or she will follow us there and they have 2 big dogs who keep all small animals out of their yard. We haven't started traveling in our bus yet but I don't think my cats would like it. They like Tillo need their outdoor time.

Yeah, it's a rough road at times. It's great when we're settled in a safe spot for a bit. But when we're constantly on the move its a bit of a struggle to keep her on lock down.

the problem with the vet, been different every time, is here in Finland (I follow you from Finland) the same even if you are in a normal dwelling because here you have a team of vets that change continuously (normally because they move from clinic to clinic, or they have different specialties), so you can feel better than others can have the same problem as you, I think I will prefer to go to the same vet always, is something that makes sense to me, but is not possible here.

The United States is facing a Veterinarian shortage. This is a serious issue not just for pets, but can also effect our food chain supply as a whole.

Hate to say this but I’ve discovered that traveling with animals isn’t a good idea. We don’t do it. That’s y we’re waiting until ours are gone before we do any significant traveling in an rv. Sorry. That just me.

It's definitely had its ups and downs!! But since we usually travel for a few weeks, then stay in one spot for a few, it works out pretty well for us! Tillo's great when we're not at a big event. Then it can kind of a headache.
