Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Phoenix Rising Testing Begins Construction Update 6.5.24 IT'S ALIVE!!!

While the locals were getting ready for bed, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was waking up their new 2024 attraction with its FIRST EVER TEST RUN! We scoped out the site prior to the run and saw all the necessary components needed for testing in place before the ride ran at approximately 10 p.m. EST. Station work continues with some new theme elements and fencing around the area continues to be installed.

You are correct. Only one train at a time too. It's a short ride but unloading and loading takes forever.

5:52 that's the part of the park that needs the most attention. Those animal exhibits are looking rough over behind Cobras Curse. I'm surprised they're matching Pantiopia's theming. That's nice. You've got some dedication. I'll give ya that haha

I don’t understand why they wait till the park closes to start testing is that the new thing because Cedar Point has been testing TT2 after the park closes

They don't want Guests around in case the run doesn't go as planned (eg. it doesn''t make it around the track), or something else that might not be right (perhaps track/train clearance). Even with the most reliable coaster manufacturer, you never know how the first run(s) will go!
