I cannot describe how much I love this coaster 🥹 We spent a full day at Dollywood last year and were dying to ride it based on the look of it but kept checking the app only to see it continued to be closed all day. As we made our way to the exit of the park that night, we came upon the 50s car hop town which looked awesome so we strolled around it and ended up at the Lightning Rod entrance which had just been opened with 5 people in line. When we got off of it we were speechless 😆 It was somehow 100 times better than we already anticipated. About a week later when we got back home from our vacation I was still thinking about this coaster and how blown away I was so I looked up what the fastest wooden roller coaster in the world is to discover that it’s the Lightning Rod!!! Epically gnarly, highly recommended 😎

It was awesome to ride behind you (and in front of you at a point) today! Phoenix Rising is a great new coaster for the park. I was the guy in black in the front row when you got your first ride in the second row today

I mean this replaced sand serpent and the boat ride... why would they put a big coaster when sand serpent wasn't a big coaster? It was a family ride.

If feels like they just took a small invert, and removed the inversions...as if they were supposed to be there, but then were deleted from the layout..."here comes the inline twist... PSYCH!"

I totally felt the same way, I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way. It looks like Batman with that angle decent into the loop but nope then into the zero roll but nope then towards the end it's zero g roll but again nope.🤣All kidding aside it does look like a really nice invert and probably is a ton of fun without inversions.

Sea Worlds decision making is really bizarre lately... why spend the money on three trains for penguin trek and then build this with just one train? Other than that, the ride looks just ok. B&M just isn't the best choice for family inverts. Vekomas layouts seem much more fluid and dynamic at the same time.

It looks awesome, I just wish that the part where it goes (almost) below ground level would have some theming, not just concrete. Awesome job bringing us all of the construction phases!!

Actually not bad for Baby Montu with no inversions. It reminds me of playing on a swing and going a little too high or maybe sticking your head out the window as your parents drive down the highway. Much better than Penguin Trek.

I don't know, Penguin Trek is themed better, launched, and around twice as long. It also pulls better forces while still being family oriented. This isn't bad but I kinda wish Busch Gardens saved up a little longer for a higher quality family coaster.

I believe the single train operation comes from the lack of a transfer track and not the small break run. I could be wrong tho
