Lyrics:
There must be something we can eat
Maybe find another lover
Should I fly to Los Angeles
Find my asshole brother
Mickey mouse has grown up a cow
Dave's on saleagain
We kissy kiss in the rear view
We're so bored
You're to blame
Try to see it once my way
Everything Zen
Everything Zen
I don't think so

Born in the 50's,,,raised on Stones, Floyd, and Zeppelin,,, the late 80's through the 90's is the ONLY DECADE that can stand side by side with the classics. You grew up in a good era of music. Thank your lucky stars.

This Band came along and was well Loved immediately by Grungers everywhere, it was the media and music elitists that hated on these guys. Calling them the British Nirvana or Pearl Jam is a huge compliment, it's exactly what they were going for.
@stevehardman4686
@stevehardman4686 5 жыл бұрын
Yup, they weren't popular with people who realized that there was a difference between Sonic Youth and Veruca Salt, or Mudhoney and Candlebox. Combine that with the change in musical style to jump on a bandwagon(their early sound was described as INXS lite), and the past of one member in one of the least respected bands in recent British modern music(Transvision Vamp, who I admittedly like a lot more than Bush, at least they were trying to combine different styles together), and you can understand why they had issues with credibility. Well, also watch the video for Teen Spirit and then watch this, and figure out which ones are living the life, and which ones are playing the part on tv. Calling them the British Nirvana is a huge slam, any band that is the British counterpart of any other band is a statement of a lack of originality and talent

@@stevehardman4686 Precisely. Bush were one of the bands that were promoted after the end of Nirvana, a cynical attempt by record companies to cash in. They weren't 'well loved immediately', many people at the time could see them for the posers that they were.

I'm 21 years old now and have been listening to this song since I was a baby (my mom would sing me her favorite grunge songs from the 90's, including this one, since I was an infant. More so in the style of a lullaby though when I was little haha). This piece is in my top 100 favorite songs ever, and as far as I can remember this is the first time I've ever actually watched the music video, and I'm not gonna lie they totally cheaped out on this shit 😂. A great song deserves a great music video! Haha

I stumbled across this one within the last week. Makes me realize that I missed at least one song when I put together my three best of the 90s digital compilations. Might have to see about adding this old gem. Also...it's hard fathom how much distance we have put between the 90s and now. Last great music decade.
