Dont want to give the other animals in the area reason to associate the two. Ie people with scary stuff.

You don’t want to push the animal you just shot any further. A lot of time they will go settle down and die having no idea that they have been hit if the broad head is sharp. Also you don’t want to educate or spook other animals nearby.

You dont usually hunt a spot just one time. You dont want other prey associating the spot with humans. With bow hunting animals dont usually realize what happened. I've shot a deer and had other deer hang around for a long time. If I hooped and hollered and talked loud the animals would associate that spot with humans and danger.

Well done Josh ! Congratulations on a great Ram. Perfect shot with a stickbow and loving that single bevel. They have been putting game down for centuries. Hi there John. It's nice to see new recruits giving bowhunting a try. Best advice, be patient..... As for your broadheads, the big single bevel head used in the video is probably the elite of all of the various styles but they ain't cheap, truck me. 20 bucks a piece, at least. I would stick with a fixed head that refects the 3-1 ratio that has been recommended by knowledgeable bowhunters for tens of thousands of years. Don't let the salesman sell you some gimmicky contraption, stick with simple, it won't ever let you down. Good luck

Awesome hunt! Could you do a video on your setup Josh? I see you have your nose button on there and the limb clicker. I was wondering how you attached your limb clicker I can’t get them to stay on my bow. Also how do you like the nose button on a Trad bow? I just ordered one for my compound!
