tying around the trees is killing them it is very bad

@@carmineredd1198 only if it's tied up there for years(10+) will it harm the tree, not kill it. I've seen barbwire inches inside a tree before and the tree just grew around it. Trees growing throu a car, around an old WW2 helmet someone left in the crook of a tree. Look at how they build treehouses. They drill holes all the way through the tree, then run a big bolt through the tree to support the treehouse.

wij noemen deze hond een mechelaar, engels/frans malinois. We laten Belgisch weg. De naam komt waarschijnlijk van Mechelen/Malines, waar Vlaams gesproken wordt. Mechelse herder wordt ook gebruikt. Africhters werken vaak met kruizingen. Groeten.

This is the best shelter I've seen you build yet. Solid and lasting. Absolutely nothing will keep you warmer than heated stones. Get them good and hot and then only a modest fire will keep you warm and cozy all night without the up and down fluctuations. Great job!

"Ugh! Nothing but rocks on that hill!" "'Rocks,' you say?" Unique sort of terrain, with highly eroded bedrock at the surface. Turned a bad thing into a good thing, using what's there to build something. Takes me back to the stone fences of Northeastern Pennsylvania, and some of the forts we built. Nice to have stone hearths dotting your stompin' grounds. People will talk about the primitive tribesmen of the 21st century when they come across your little shelter 1000 years from now.

I’ve done a lot of work with rock/stone & this season I’ll be putting in areal stone fire pit (NOT pavers or “stones” from Home Depot. I collected them from all over NewEngland, mostly from roadsides, but it’s a lot of fun & you get a nice variety of shapes, sizes, textures, etc.

Watching the lower parts of the walls being built reminds me of the dry stone walling you see in parts of this country, the UK. The counties that did this each have their own unique style. The best of it is that some of these walls were put up hundreds of years ago and are still standing in places, and are in reasonable repair. It's even more astounding when you realise that there is no mortar, no concrete, no cement in the wall, and the only thing that's kept the wall up for all that time is the skill and patience of the builders, as they carefully found the best place and position for each of the stones they put up!

masonry as a trade is a gift, it's not just playing with rocks, you have that natural ability to make it happen out of what's at hand, imagine using a trowel, and pre-selected stone, be it granite or limestone, bet you would create one hell of a beautiful fireplace, have built a few in my time and appreciate the ability. always enjoy your and Gracies adventures

That’s a great shelter you built. It’s roomy and looks very warm with that awesome fireplace. Hope you don’t have to take it down. What kind of animals come around your shelter? Do you have to put something to block the entrance at night? I know Bonny might have something to say about that. She’s so big and very protective of you. Did you mention what kind of dog she is? What do you use for lighting inside the shelter? Do you make some type of lantern or flashlight? Your country has so many beautiful types of landscapes to choose from for your amazing shelters. I enjoy watching to see what’s your next build. Thank you for sharing them with us. Be safe and stay well til the next one.

When this man's dog gets in the way or is in danger, it's a good idea for him to throw something and let him go without scolding him. I always feed my dog a lot and heal the relationship of trust. 飼い主さんは、犬が作業の邪魔や危険になる時、叱ったりせずに何かを投げて取らせに行かせるのが良いね。いつも犬にもたくさん食べさせてあげて信頼関係ができているのが素晴らしい。癒やされる。

I love that pup!! I used to play with my boxer like that. He used to take off running around me then come flying through the air and sucker punch me. Knocked me right to the ground... I miss him. He was a lot of fun.

Interesting use of a pressure cooker. I’ve never seen one used in the field. My mom used one to cook multiple chickens for some specific meal. She also cooked tough cuts of beef like brisket and other large pieces of beef that we had from having our own steer butchered and wrapped by a local butcher. Simple pot as long as the pressure release valve worked!
