@@naturalforest8610 Hello I live in Kentucky USA and spend a lot of time outdoors we have huge forest and only one American state Alaska has more running rivers and streams than we do here in Kentucky we also have many huge man-made lakes. We have a very diverse landscape we have swamp lands in the west and the Appalachian mountain in the east. We fish, hunt small and large game with over a million head of whitetail deer and other large animals like Elk and Bear. It's really a outdoorsman's paradise. We also can own and use almost any type of weapon. You can even own a anti tank gun or a belt fed MG. Anyway good luck and I'll be watching more of your vids. life is good kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e5pdnMig2reWqHk.html

I put the sail under the transoms so that it could be stretched better and not tear on the small protrusions on the wood. The wooden crossbars serve as a support for the spruce branches and fallen leaves serving to blend in with the surroundings.

Great emergency shelter for a night or two, you would not want to be in there if there was any hint of even a slow steady rain , A thunderstorm would be very dangerous.it is a major drainage for the sides of those hills , probably runs several miles. If it rains at the head of the slope, it may not be raining where you are, all the water is slowed down by debris until it finds your open spot and you are in 4 or 5 feet or more of ice cold water with logs and branches in it, when you wake up. You can tell how forceful the water is by how much debris and what type at the bottom of the ravine, There were not even any big tree trunks down there! So something keeps washing them out. Even if there were debris piles , getting shoved into one of those in 3 or 4 foot of water will almost always be fatal. I would only pick this spot if I was wet and needed a fire fast and then I would get out as fast as I found something else. jmo

Interesting bush-craft. In all my trips into the bush, I have never taken 2 shovels, 1 axe, a hand saw, ,a large tarp and a ball of twine to build a shelter. You also have a hammock, a sleeping bag, a billy, a fry-pan and food. Add to this would have been some sort of camera and tripod for filming. I believe more than one trip to the car to get you required for the night, so the car must have been fairly close by. If it is to be a video about a Survival Shelter, please make it a bit more genuine.

Thats how you learn, :if you survive it} you build them then find out what is wrong, problem is , every channel digs their first one in a run off, why, because 3 /4ths of the work is already done, but ,if you get caught asleep during a flash flood, the tiniest little puddles can get deadly. Please stop digging in runoffs and low areas it will get people killed. Also , don't dig under a hill, it will collapse. dig the top off , cover it with thick branches and put a tarp covered by no more than inches of dirt . The trick to shelters is to survive them. 2 feet of dirt falling on you when you are asleep and on your back, can easily kill you
