Finished Hoarah Loux at 12:37:38; finished Elden Beast at 24:35:30... that's 11:57:52 between the penultimate and final (double-)boss. This man has an absolutely unreal amount of patience and dedication to learning the most precise windows of timing possible to do these runs. So, so much respect - can't wait for you to keep getting bigger within the ER content creator community, my friend!

For those wondering: mimic has a weird thing that no matter what you have on your hot bar when it copies you for the boss fight it will instantly get infinite ruin fragments to throw.

@@thememelords9491 pretty sure the guy was skumnut? and he was comparing the infant head to weapons, but in terms of tools (which using only of is the challenge of this run) is basically s tier for bosses that'll stay in it's flames for a time

I love the Radahn cheese because it feels realistic in game given his lore as a berserker driven mad by the rot, it makes sense you'd be able to trick him into landing somewhere dangerous while he's blinded by rage

As a little note for anyone struggling with Elden Stars: in the Mountaintops of the Giants you can get the crimsonwhorl bubbletear for your physick which will actually heal you for any of the holy damage it deals. Lasts about 15 or so seconds so it's the perfect length to just tank through the move

There are 4 tools and 3 of them summons wraiths. We certainly caught fromsoft slipping.

@@goreobsessed2308 exactly what? You have low standards? This took them YEARS to make I would have preferred them not make these items in favor of a couple ashes of war or GODDAMN GRAVITY SPELLS. Sorry I am really passionate about the lack of gravity spells considering an entire 2 bosses (with one having a repeat) are gravity based. Gravity is a new spell type for the series and it sucks it isn't more fleshed out. So yeah I would have preferred them make less basically useless tool weapons.

That deer skull is actually.... surprisingly competent. I'll have to look into using it myself, because lingering AOE attacks are the bane of my existence in ER and I want the enemies to suffer it for once

This is actually just as painful as Only Holy Run. Early good damage and fun until you get to the Fire Giant and beyond... Though that Regal Omen Bairin is such a good item i always use it and can still do more damage consistently than some Holy Weapons... 27:00 Thats a move i yet to see in my playthrough, Triple Ground Stab. Also 20+ hrs for a really good ER player to do this challenge, i hope they buff the scaling of the items. Some of his timed recorded challenges with Parry Only the highest of 10+ hrs shows how bad the items are lmao while his other challenge runs are 5 hrs below. My god those damage.

What are you including in the holy category? Bcs if we are talking about holy dmg there is destined death.

@@MrFool-cv5hf Pure one actually. So theres no Fire, Death, Beastial, Lightning Incantations. You can however use Support Type Incantations of this types, you just cant deal damage with these type of spells. You can also only use a weapon that inflicts ONLY Holy damage in this type of run but even using weapons that can inflict Holy is also good since its still half as painful.

I haven't fully finished the video yet but for Maliketh the Blashphemous claw or what it's called you could use because it's a tool and you could "parry" him

It isnt worth it though since the best strat is still the Wraith Calling Bell and using at a very far away, most likely only good if Malekith got too close.

14:55 id like to point out, the golden vow incantation is a 15% damage boost, as apposed to the 12% of the weapon art.

13:15 the reason why you do so much damage (2700 ish), is because the fire giant has a weird thing where behind his heel he takes significantly more damage after you break his ankle-warmer

I love videos like these because they show the crazy amount of ways that you can play Elden Ring. I love how FromSoft really went all out and provided so many different tools for players to use and so many different build possibilites

Deer head is the MVP of this run. It allows you to focus on spacing and trying to keep the enemy idle for as long as possible, instead of just desperately spamming a ranged attack.

This was cool. I have a challenge idea: what if you had to beat eldin ring while only using weapons your stats cant qualify for. This means slow rolls, no weapon skills, etc, depending on what you lack

I was wondering, for the Radagon / Elden Beast fight, maybe you could've done without the scarseal/soreseal (whichever it was) and added holy protection (-20% holy damage on the +2 version) instead? There are also some armour, like Tree Sentinel that has increased holy protection. Additionally, since your run allowed for buffs, you could've added the holy protection buff (-60% holy dmg for 70s) too and/or holyproof liver (-15% holy dmg for 120s).

I remember making 3 seperate characters trying to make the Wraith Calling Bell good so I could help people in co-op with it as "funny bell-ringing man" and hating myself when all three (split/all faith/all int) barely increased the damage by 10 points.
