Have you been considering becoming a certified business analyst? If so, then you need to clearly understand the difference between a certification and a certificate.
There is increasing confusion in our profession about the difference between certifications and certificates.
There are some organizations out there that are claiming to provide you with certification when they do not have the authority to do so.
In this video, I provide you a simple checklist that you can use to determine if your training program is providing you with a "Certification" or a "Certificate".
You can use this checklist anytime you're unsure about whether the training program you're taking is providing you with a certificate or a certification.

Throughout the video, I validated my thoughts on CBAP(IIBA) and other AGILE SAFE 5(Scaled Agile) and CSPO (Scrum Alliance). As per this, only CBAP is a certification, and the others are certificates.

Hey @BABLOCKS. So BCS requirements engineering module does not has any eligibility criteria. would it be stilled classified as Certification or Certificate?

Learn how to speak and manage requirements, follow that with how to speak with clients to understand what they are trying to do. Read about systems thinking and understand the difference between analytical thinking and synthetic thinking and learn to use both in the way you see the world. That is a much better start than any of those certification books of knowledge or any training based on them. Cheers

IIBA CCA Certificate Cybersecurity Analysis is it only a training certificate?

Hey BA Blocks, awesome insight into the market. I am a PMP and I want to pursue CBAP will those IIBA PDUs count for 60 PDUs requirements for renewal. I am lost here, I need your help. TIA.

Hi Satish, The IIBA and the PMI are different organizations and do not generally recognize the credentials from one another. I'd recomment contacting the IIBA to get a firm answer.
