Across the world, mobile technology is improving access to healthcare information, collecting health-related data and connecting individuals to medical services. The impacts are global as cell phones and other connected devices expand rapidly in many parts of the world that otherwise have limited communication channels or health care options. From tracking infectious diseases to monitoring the impact of diet and exercise, mobile devices represent an opportunity to transform public health. Programs strengthening health care delivery and data reporting have so far made up the most publicized mHealth technologies. Please join us for a discussion of the opportunities and challenges for this disruptive technology.
The panel of speakers include Pam Dixon, Executive Director, World Privacy Forum, Ram Fish, Vice President, mHealth, Samsung, and Dianna Kane, Senior Designer, Medic Mobile.
Adam Satariano, Technology Reporter, Bloomberg News, moderates the discussion.
