It can not do that by being Mini Me of Hollywood. If India makes Avatar, it will never be as successful as the one made in Hollywood even if the animation is just as good. The cultural background and film making style all will be different. If we imitate Hollywood, then it will be a pale imitation, and people will always prefer the original. We can only thrive by making sure that people percieve RRR as a far better movie than Avatar and the one people should watch. In the home ground, India itself, this is now true. Which is a big achievement. In many parts of the world, the local industry is subservient Hollywood. In many neutral countries, like in GCC Indian movies do better than most Hollywood movies. Going forward Indian industry's relative reach will only increase while Hollywood's reach will relatively decrease. So the best strategy is not to compromise at all on trying to make contenet palatable to a Western audience
