@@rudyronquilloofficial Yeah I agree. We have so many skilled and smart fellow Filipinos that decided to work abroad. If we just have more job opportunities here in the country, those Filipinos who work like housemaids/engineers/factory workers in foreign country would not need to migrate for economic opportunities. I think it is really depressing for them to work abroad just to have money for their families. For example those Filipinos who decided to work as maids in Middle East because they don't have choice and some of them don't get enough benefits or get maltreated. I know their remittances are important for the economy but it's like they are working as slaves. It's like an exploitation of labor.

Philippines is one of the biggest resources of natural minerals that are brought outside the country, and comes back in a form of Mobile Phones, Cars, electronic devices, etc. Imagine if the Philippines creates more industries or manufacturing that relies solely on our local resources, the Philippines can produce it's own products and rely less on Imported goods. Look at Japan, a lot of the raw materials used in their Electronic and Automobile like copper were actually from the Philippines.

lol do we have a choice tho? they are providing us job opportunities - one thing that the government fails to do. thru the bbb program, it was somehow addressed. but, bruh, the ofws and these people do not deserve the blame, and you can’t just tell them not to work for outsourcing companies when it is giving them the money they need to earn and provide for their family’s basic needs. you can’t be selfish and tell that to their face. exploitation is downright wrong, but maybe you should not tell this to the people. maybe you should tell this to the government.

What they mean with telco is allowing foreign brands to get in. We only have 1 so far I think which is, Gomo from Singapore but they don’t have their own tower. Ditto I think is local. There were just additional local competitors like Converge etc but hopefully they will allow big telco companies to come in like Telstra from Australia, Virgin mobile etc where you can find these telco companies in several countries and will make the competition tougher and will push the companies to improve their services.

The BPO industry is different nowadays, it became a flea market from negligence as well as the excessive television media content that has been widespread in many companies. Accessing webpages outside work is completely unethical. Due to the pandemic as well, it is not advisable to work in any of these BPO, as simultaneous speaking is a source of covid infection in the workplace be it with face mask and shield,as carbon dioxide with different gas are released and exhaled in the higher parts, that makes employees always ill. Safety and security of employees should always be implemented so that the organizational set up are not in a mess. Virtual HR, virtual employees, these are the long time problems wherein every manager should have anticipated, and not kept running or hiding away from the unethical standards they have committed due to long exposure and being lax. These companies should be new, all ethical standards should and must be implemented, directly to the companies and their respective offices, apart from illnesses and infection of any sort. New building configured to infectious disease or ISO Certifications in order to be fully compliant. Transaction is directly to offices, where legal addresses do exists.
