This medication does not have the abuse and dependency risk that many anxiolytics (like benzodiazepines have) and generally causes less risk of sexual dysfunction as your SSRIs and SNRIs. But with that said, it requires 2 - 3 time dosing throughout the day, isn't always tolerated, and may not be as effective as your SSRIs or SNRIs for some patients.
