Not sure why the first video for this could not upload and finish processing, ie "Processing abandoned The video could not be processed"...lets try again.
So as part of the restoration process for my 110+ yr old Buss Machinery Company 8" jointer, I need to try and get the oil to not leak out so much.
To that end I tried adding in some oil retention grooves. This is my first attempt at adding in oil retention grooves to the babbitt bearings. This helped, but I need to do additional grooves as oil is still leaking out more than is preferred for normal use.
