We decided to remodel our home while we live here. The kitchen in Jan. 2022 took forever and it was not functional to cook in so we ate out and gained weight! It is finally 89% complete and we moved to the bathroom. I am 68 and no longer comfortable stepping into a fiberglass tub/shower (70s version) so we are ripping it out and making a walk-in tiled shower. It is our only shower so I m praying that part goes off without a hitch or it could get rather smelly! Things sometimes go slow and you just deal with it. With back pain I am not what I used to be so converting a 9-drawer dresser into a bathroom vanity has been slow. Sanded down and I am doing an imitation driftwood stain effect, is not as fast as I like but after it is finished and installed comes the tub rip out and building the shower!
