Without stitching the patch to the outer upper the cut is still there on the feather edge and will pull out again!!then to use staples on the top piece?…oh well!

Well I noticed the shoe was not welted or corked which surprised me because of Jeffery West are not cheap. The heal when on with pins and not staples, I am sure that is how the heals would have put on in the factory in the first. I am furniture man and Pin Guns certainly have they place in industry.

Why don’t you remove nails in heel block instead of sanding them off? Too many nails end up in shoe.

@@thetruebrit85esxactly!..just pull them out..sanding them risks tearing sanding band…sparks going into dust extractor causing a fire and leaving the nail tops in the insole risks them raising up under the heel…..so thetruebrit85 isn’t quite so stupid!!

Would it be possible to replace a completely rubber sole and heel with a leather set? I have some cowboy boots (Ariat Legend) that are pretty work down from work and living on a ranch and I was wondering if it’s possible and how much it would cost if it is. Thank you!!
